Superb performance. Must buy if Desktop setup is a Requirement
The screen is fantastic with good adjustability, you can tilt according to your preference. Though it doesn’t comes with height adjustment but anyways with the stand it comes exactly at your reading level. Installation is super easy. The brightness is more than sufficient. During the purchase I found many people complaining about the sound but trust me the sound is extremely good. I hv a preference of loud sound but surprisingly I am using the volume below 20 where the sound reaches up to 100. You can make out how good the sound is. If ur purchasing it as desktop, go for 27inch and not for 32 as it would be too big for the view. The screen is full Hd so picture quality will matter if ur viewing on QHD screens but that wouldn’t make much of a difference if u connect it from ur 4K content screens like m displaying out from my MacBook. Totally worth a product. Would say it’s better than Samsung. I am using it with my MacBook for personal uses which gives a good quality output in terms of the picture and videos. For my work, yeah the words would not be very crisp but since the size is big, you can increase the fonts and then it won’t matter. For me it’s a very good purchase. I hv connected by devices with the given HDMI cable. The setup looks super premium and presentable. Super satisfied. Also Amazon delivered it the next morning before 8AM. It didn’t took more than 10hrs.

Amazing picture quality and text clarity while office work. Nice buy in this price range.
The picture quality is amazing in this price point however I had to buy external speakers because the voice is not that great. 2 HDMI ports in the monitor work well with the cable provided with the monitor - first one for monitor connection to PC and second port as audio output to external speakers. Colors are good, the video has been taken with eye care option 'ON' and blue light filter 'ON'. The tilt function is a good addition to this model and monitor connects with bluetooth as well but I prefer HDMI to be the best option. The text clarity for work is also nice. Size is apt for work as well as for watching movies/series. Monitor is slightly heavier than PC but is stable and portable. Did not see any flickering issues. Overall satisfied with the monitor. (Ignore the cooler sound in the background of the attached video)

Best purchare
This monitor was never an impulse buy — it was an investment in myself. Looking back now, I’m genuinely happy I made this decision. Phase 1: Before the Upgrade My earlier setup worked, but it felt limiting. Screen space was tight, multitasking was uncomfortable, and long coding sessions were not ideal. Phase 2: The Big Leap When the 43" monitor arrived, my first thought was: “This might be too big for my table.” But within a few days, that feeling disappeared. The 4K clarity, massive screen space, and smooth UI immediately changed how I worked. Phase 3: Setup Evolution Slowly, my setup evolved — better desk layout, chair, accessories, and cable management. The monitor became the centerpiece, and everything else started aligning around it. Phase 4: Everyday Use (Now) After months of usage: Zero issues No UI lag Smooth for coding, gaming, and content consumption webOS works flawlessly USB-C single-cable setup is super convenient Final Thoughts Looking back at the journey, I feel very happy and proud of myself. This monitor didn’t just upgrade my desk — it upgraded my daily experience. Easily one of the best things I’ve added to my setup. 😎

Good smart monitor for 12.5k
Good monitor, display quality is good as it's an IPS panel, support usb mouse, keyboard and have lg channels with wide range of entertainment channels. Sound quality is ok sufficient for a small room to watch movie

Great Product
Nice monitor and smart tv. Good picture quality. You can connect your laptop to monitor using the hdmi cable and do your office work and change to tv using the remote. Stand is very easy to fix, no guidance needed. Its simple diy. Everything is in the box. Install the LG thinQ app on phone and add the device. Its turns your phone to a remote. Both wifi and blutooth are available to connect your other devices to monitor. It has speakers, but not that great. Overall a nice product for office work and entertainment. Much better than classic monitors which come around the same price levels.

Competitive price because of a panel with compromises
Due to the current unavailability of the (also significantly more expensive) LG 43UN700-B, I had purchased four of these (LG 43SQ700S) for office use at a client site. I'm writing this review after 2 months of daily use for software development in single as well as dual screen setups. The LG 43SQ700S is pretty nice Smart TV / monitor with decent capabilities, a very competitive price tag, and few compromises. The key features are: 43″ 4K (3840×2160) monitor with Built-in USB hub, USB-C input w/ 60W power delivery, 2×HDMI input, built-in Ethernet (RJ-45) and WiFi to connect the monitor itself, Smart TV features like Netflix and other Apps (WebOS), plus a remote. The stand supports a bit of swivel but no pivot or height adjustment. The LG 43SQ700S comes with a power cord, a USB-C cable, and an HDMI cable. In India, although technically not needed, the power plug of the power cord is a 16A plug, not a 6A plug. Out of the box, you will most likely not be able to use this and need to order a 6A power plug cable separately. The assembly is simple, super-easy and can be done by a single person. Assembling the stand from its two pieces requires three screws (included) and a screwdriver (not included). There's a trick for putting the monitor on the stand: Hold the monitor facing away from you, that is, the back towards you, and the stand between you and the monitor. In other words, assemble the monitor from its backside. Then it's super easy to put the monitor on the stand. The built-in speakers are okay-ish. They're good enough to hear people clearly on video calls, or watching the occasional video. When playing music, you can clearly hear the limits of small built-in speakers like this. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just something a buyer should be aware of. The picture-in-picture capabilities are limited to an input plus a SmartTV App. The USB-C power delivery does NOT work with a Raspberry Pi 5. This, however, is not the fault of the TV but the Raspberry Pi. Sadly, the Raspberry Pi is very picky about its power supply, and this TV won't work. However, the power delivery works just fine with, for example, an Apple MacBook Pro (M2 Max), and that's super convenient: Just one cable to connect the entire desk (or two in case of a dual-screen setup). Now to the most important and most critical part: The panel. The panel is the compromise that gives the monitor its competitive price tag. The panel does not have anti-glare, nor does this panel have an optimized wide viewing angle. The blue light filter capabilities are also limited. This has several consequences. The glare of the panel causes ceiling and window light to be reflected in ways that make the screen content difficult to read. The limited viewing angle means that a dual-screen setup with two LG 43SQ700S isn't fully functional. Depending on the seating position, the contents of the far edge of the screen will degrade in contrast, brightness, and color accuracy. Contrast this with, say, the LG 43UN700-B that has an anti-glare panel and a viewing angle of 178° and thus has no light reflections and performs perfectly well even in dual or triple monitor setups. Overall, the LG 43SQ700S is a nice, well-built, quality device. But buyers need to be aware that its competitive price tag is achieved with compromises on the panel, and these compromises can, depending on use case and lighting conditions, degrade your experience with this monitor.

Display is good but has light bleeding issues and bad lg service
Delivery:- was fast. Got it in one day with wet box due to rainy season. Had single taping so got assured it wasn’t tampered. Comes with power cable and a hdmi cable inside with metal stand also. Looks:- Looks super elegant on desk with thinner bezels except bottom well that’s similar for all displays as its hard to fold and bend bottom bezel so avoiding that saves cost of production. Assembly is simple with three screws and once assembled its sturdy and no shakiness. Quality:- I was concerned over use of hd resolution(1080p) above 24 inch as pixels become visible due to low ppi value so decided to play it safe with 27 inch. I would say u can see pixels if u stare close or next to it but for say above 1-2 feet it will look sharp. So i guess lg did a really nice job here. I would’ve really liked to have 2k here but since it has cost down I accept it. Avoid 32 inch as it would have some visibility or pixel sharpness issue. Colors:- look really good initially but i later calibrated it to similar to my iphone display and now i like it more. Its not a big deal just my personal preference. Also use eye comfort to reduce blue light as having a display this size will just make u watch more and more. Viewing angles are good and has matt protection layer on it so hardly any reflection. A good job from lg. Lg makes better monitors in my opinion compared to other brands as i read similar opinion in other people’s reviews also. Plus good customer support also almost every part of india, well if they hire good staff everywhere. Unique Quality:- U dont need a pc or mac to run as it has built in web os from lg and has supported apps for media consumption and light office work apps. Has web browser also. Plus lg channels app in it for viewing tv channels for free though u need to make a lg account and since its free so good. My laptop stopped working and now I don’t want laptop ever as always first it gets display issues. So decided to go for mac mini for 55k pricing but it hasn’t been updated with m3 chip from last yr but this yr(winter 2024) gonna get M4 chip. So waiting for that and meanwhile this display can be used solo also. Plus point is it can be connected with phone(airplay and one for android also, sorry don’t remember feature name). Worst part:- All things mentioned above are phenomenal considering its price except audio part. Inbuilt speakers ate fine i would say but they totally sound like speakers from back in 2000 beginning or more earlier times. They sound like old philips radio type. And adding more headache to it is that there isn’t any headphone jack on it so can’t connect earphones or our own headphones either. Has bluetooth but that also isnt the best as it lacks good quality audio streaming and is older generation(4.1 or something not sure maybe check above). Bluetooth range is super bad. Just reaches 2-3 ft and beyond that signal absence occurs. So if u wanna watch from distance and twist or turn on bed for movie binging, bluetooth will just make u mad. So to get good audio out of it i would suggest to use a hdmi audio extractor which comes for around 1k like one from sounce. I have ordered it to connect my dac with it for good audio. So i think it should have either optical port out for audio or headphone jack. Update:- Sounce hdmi extractor didn't work but the product was good for video output signal and not just for audio hdmi arc solo. So returned it and then got hdmi arc audio extractor and its working really nice. Audio quality is 192khz(hi-res). So far so good if it lasts long. Ordered tobo hdmi arc exctractor(https://amzn.in/d/04d2WKjz) as it was good value for money but just comes with 1 month warranty. Wonder if they don't trust it themselves to last long. Sounce one had 1 yr warranty. Use optical port for better audio quality by eitger connecting it with external dac or audio system. It has 3.5mm audio out also which outputs 48khz/till 192khz(cant check it as i got not such equipment) but still it sounds just as good as my external dac. Device itself is really small and is powered by type c 5v adapter which doesn't come with box just cable only. Final thoughts:- Go for it if u are just looking for media consumption and light office works or education as u can study online on it without needing a pc and save a lot of money to buy complete pc or mac. And if in case u need more firepower later then just get a pc or mac mini to add to it. Doesn’t has high refresh rate but I don’t mind as u wont notice that while working on it or media playback. Has apple music app and many other good apps. A beautiful and simple interface and remote that is bonus to watch from distance. Overall a good package. Update2:- Now has light bleeding issue in some months and even after complaint twice, lg customer care doesn't help stating thats normal in a lcd panel as its backlit. But pls explain how this miracle happens at only one corner and not all? Bottom right corner glows like a bulb and not evenly distributing the light on panel thus making such issue. Lg service is always like this in all their consumer products and service guy then tries to sell various stuff therby fooling peoples. Its the reason why i am not raising another complaint and won't ever buy from lg. See images for it.
