Sets Makeup Well, but Spray Head Could Be Better
I got this Hydrating Mist after being pleased with another Sonage product, and so far I've been pretty pleased with this brand in general. I've used a very cheap rose water solution in the past that didn't seem to perform well, so I wanted to give it another try with this mist, which also contains rose water amongst other beneficial ingredients.I was hoping it would smell more like rose, but it has a very light scent; this would be great for those that don't like fragrances or are sensitive to them. I could see that this could be used as a nice hydrating toner, but I got it exclusively for the purpose of setting makeup. It does set makeup well, and I can feel the difference if I forget and rub my hand over my face: my foundation stays put pretty well, and especially when wearing a mask. My only issue is that the spray is a bit too forcefull- it gets your face a little too wet to where often I will need to go back and pat some of it off, or reapply a little makeup where it was essentially sprayed off. If the spray head had more of a mist, this would be absolutely perfect. Other than that, it does work, helps to hydrate my skin and keeps makeup in place. It's a bit pricier than the super cheap brand I bought previously (but that also didn't really work) so I think the cost is probably fair enough for what I'd expect to spend.

Sonage Hydrating Mist - Alcohol Free Hydrating Facial Spray with Rose Water
This is a really nice facial product that can be used a few ways, but could use some work on disambiguating those uses. I'm re-entering the world of self-care after neglecting my skin for awhile, and I had to read through reviews to really understand that this is basically a dual-purpose toner/setting spray. Once I understood what it was for, I went ahead and ordered it and hoped for the best - and really, I think this product delivers! The day after it came in, I had dinner to attend, so I spritzed it over my makeup just before running out the door. I feel like I lost a lot less foundation coming off on my mask than usual and my face overall felt a lot more hydrated and less sticky than when using other setting sprays. It was really weightless without being drying at all.Since then I've used this mostly as a toner because I don't wear makeup that often, and I also really like it as a toner. It feels to me very similar to using pure rose water but with a touch more plumping effect and slightly more viscosity. It's great for days when your skin needs a little more hydration in its routine, and if you have dry skin it's a perfect daily nondrying toner.I'm overall really happy with this product. It's my second one from Sonage and so far I think everything in their product line is high quality and very effective. Definitely recommend this toner to anyone looking for an alcohol-free toner, especially if you're into dual-purpose products since this one is also a setting spray.

Good Alcohol Free Toner For My Dry, Sensitive Skin, Can Be Used As Setting Spray Too (4.5 Stars)
Sonäge Hydrating Mist is an alcohol free mist that’s a toner to use after cleansing, or it can be used as a setting spray after applying makeup. I have dry, sensitive skin and use it primarily as a toner. When I spray my face after cleansing and gently wipe with a soft cotton pad, it feels like a second cleanse that removes residual makeup, dirt, dead skin, etc. It makes my skin feel cleaner and seem a little softer without making my skin dry or irritated. My skin also feels refreshed and calm when I spray it with this mist. My skin also seems more hydrated after misting and applying a serum with hyaluronic acid while my skin is still damp. I like that I can spray Sonäge mist on my face later in the day as a refreshing pick me up even though I’ve applied makeup, and it doesn’t mess up my makeup. This can even be used as a setting spray, though I use it mostly as a toner. The non aerosol spray bottle doesn’t release a super fine mist, but it’s not bothersome to me.This Sonäge mist has a light scent from rose water and possibly other botanical extracts. This mist has good dry and/or sensitive skin ingredients, such as matricaria flower, aloe barbadensis leaf extract and glycerin. Tremella Fuciformis Sporocarp extract is an antioxidant and also helps hydration. The ingredients rate low risk by EWG, except lactic acid (an AHA that gets a “best” rating by Paula’s Choice). This Sonäge mist seems to be a good toner for my dry, sensitive skin. Like it a lot. 4.5 stars.Ingredients: water, aloe barbadensis (aloe vera)leaf extract, polyglyceryl-10 caprylate (plant source), chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract, panax (ginseng) root extract, sambacus nigra (elderflower) extract, rosa damascena (rose) hydrosol, citrus grandis (grapefruit) oil, melia azadirachta leaf (neem) extract, melia azadirachta flower extract, coccinia indica (ivy gourd) leaf extract, corallina officinalis extract, tremella fuciformis sporocarp (snow mushroom) extract, betaine, glycerin, allantoin, lactic acid, (ph balancer), leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate, sodium dehydroacetate.
