JL Audio 8W1v3-4 W1v3 8-inch Subwoofer Driver

Sounds very nice using the stock amp in my Explorer. Nice full sound and good base without overdoing it (I’m not a teenager).Dropped Into my 99 Explorer EB factory box with slight modification to allow for an extra 1/4 of depth. It fit the existing mounting holes. Be sure to confirm polarity of the amp wires before getting rid of the stock speaker. For 99, black is positive (I found that after I installed it the first time). Took about an hour to put this JL Audio sub in.

Excellent subwoofer. It was everything that the reviewers had said! Great sound without booming or pounding. Just what I needed to replace my brand new Alpine 10" subwoofer which had an annoying pounding bass that was uncomfortable to listen too. This subwoofer sounds rich with just the right amount of bass. Perfect!

Saw this product has five stars,I was kind of hissitant about getting it.I bought 2 for a C6 corvatte,built my own boxes with the recommended spec.All I say it has eveything I wanted and more.The louder you play it,the better they sound.

Great product high quality, just didn't fit my application and unfortunately had to return. Seller made it easy to return though.

I used this product to add bass to my lg ok75. This sub has very good deep bass. The sub really has that punch and higher end and the lows that other eights seem to not have.

Good quality, and a wide range of audible tones. This is not just a "boom" but rather good quality bass sound. Wonderful for listening to R&B, etc. with wild and vibrant bass guitar, etc.

It bumps, and its a jlCant beat this quality

Great sound...great detail and great bass response for such a small subwoofer...worth the extra cost in my mind
