Ditch the Can Opener Drama! This Gadget is a Silver Saviour
Anyone who's ever battled a stubborn tin with a clunky can opener knows the frustration. Bruised fingers, uneven lids, and the ever-present fear of a rogue can edge - enough to make you declare war on all things canned! But fear not, fellow tin-tamers, there's a shiny knight in silver armour on the horizon - the YUET Electric Tin Opener! This little marvel is a revelation. Two AA batteries (not included, but hey, who doesn't have a stash lying around?) and you're ready to roll. Using it is child's play - literally, my niece figured it out in seconds. Place it on the can, press the start button and hold for a couple of seconds (to give it some grip), then let go and watch in amazement as it whirls around the can, leaving a smooth, clean lid behind. Now, I won't lie, there were a couple of tins where it seemed to falter at first. But a quick reposition and it chomped through them like a champ. Plus, it feels really sturdy and well-made, not some flimsy gadget ready to give up the ghost. And cleaning it? A breeze - just wipe it down and it's ready for the next can crusade.Honestly, for anyone with dodgy wrists or even the slightest hint of arthritis, this is a game-changer. No more wrestling with stubborn lids, no more sore fingers - just effortless can-opening that leaves you feeling like a superhero. So, if you're ready to reclaim your kitchen from the tyranny of the tricky tin, this little beauty is definitely worth a look!

Smooth edges, lid removed, clever design
I think mine must be a bit faulty, but it does take tin lids off, without leaving sharp edges. The once I received is black, not silver. There are instructions, which definitely helped but were a little unclear, for instance there is a plastic release screw, I’ve never seen a screw like this before, it’s very difficult to turn in either direction and I can’t work out its function, and there’s an instruction to press the black button, but mine has no black button. They are very tiny to read, although the batter compartment is far easier than on most gadgets to open for changing batteries.I’ve tried it on quite a few round tin cans of different designs and sizes, and have got a little better at using it and understand it a little better. So you put the opener on the tin can rim in between the gear and the blade, following the curved underside of the opener, press the one large button with a long press, then let go of the gadget entirely – it wriggles around the top of the can, cutting off the top, leaving edges which aren’t sharp, which is definitely a bonus. Sometimes it moves quite smoothly, other times it wiggles its tail, I’m not sure why. But it does get the lid off, with smooth edges, and it does this in a ‘hands free’ fashion, with no twisting or strong grip needed (no wrist, finger or muscle ache on my part, a definite bonus), the way it works is rather clever.Update: A lot more pleased with it than I was originally - I just leave it (not unattended) to do its thing, wait for it to finish, and hey presto one tin ready to use!

Poorly made. Mine doesn't close properly. 😔
The black electric tin opener I've received is poorly made. I open it to put the two batteries in it but it doesn't close properly. It's open along one side. A big gap! This shows poor quality control.Due to this, its been difficult to use it efficiently. It isn’t safe. Based on the one I received, I don't recommend this tin opener. 😔

Handy tin opener for older folks
Works a treat. Opens effectively and efficiently. A great option for those with difficulty opening tins.

Once you get the knack it does the job
This electric can opener is handy for those who don't enjoy trying to open can with a manual opener. It's a little tricky the first couple of goes, but once you get the knack it's quick and easy. Simply clip the opener over the rim of the can, press the button on top and wait. The lid removes quickly and cleanly without having to dig around to get the lid out.

A bit clunky but opens most tins.
First i had to go out and but batteries as most devices are rechargeable nowadays.Once i had the batteries installed, which was easy with the sliding cover, i had a go at opening a tin of tuna that didn't have the ring pull on it. At first i couldn't get it to sit right but after turning it upside down i got it latched onto the tin of tuna and pressed the button. I could only get it to work whilst holding the button at first which was a bit strange but on my second tin it worked as it should and opened the tin by itself.Since then i've had mixed results as sometimes it will work perfectly and others it gets stuck or i have to hold the button down while opening. When working its a really good tool but its just too inconsistent for me.

Really easy to use.
After inserting two AA batteries which are Not included I decided to put this unusual can opener to the test. There is no On/Off switch it activates by simply pushing towards the can and after a few attempts ( there is a knack to it) away it goes around the can.One thing i couldn't work out was that at the end of the opening the little motor keeps running and doesnt shut off until 30 seconds of built in time is up.What I would have liked is a USB rechargeable unit instead of batteries bu at the price point it's acceptable.I think its possible to operate it with one Hand if the can is held somehow and this may appeal to those who have a struggle with cans, It actually goes round on its own. I like it.

Good tin opener.
This is a good tin opener. It was easy to figure out and open tins fine. It is a little touch sensitive though, if I grab something from the drawer it's in it turns on, which is a little annoying.
