These are great to use on the windshield and windows of my car. They'd certainly be easier to handle if they were bigger, but then again, any size hand can use these and they are incredibly easy to store because of their compact size. I've used these for several Wisconsin winters and they get through the ice and don't damage the windows. The handle could be stronger but I hold these near the base and have yet to have one break.

I like the copper/brass scrappers over the plastic ones. These have a sturdy handle and the brass blade. The finish on the edge of the blade is not very smooth. I guess that is just from fast mass production. I liked the different colors so all the family members could pick their own color. Worked out well. But only had to use it a few times.

I've never figured out why I can't find brass-bladed ice scrapers in stores. I have used these for over 40 years. Nothing removes heavy frost and ice like a brass blade. I still have one from decades ago. They last forever. I bought this recent batch to pass out to members of our office staff when we are out in the parking lot after getting some ice during the work day. I love these things. These are strong and well-made. They look like they will last. Just keep the edge flat on your glass and do not run them into the trim around the glass.

although not expensive, these work great and because they are brass, they don't scratch. You can see by the photo the yellow one is a bit crooked, but still works! (The fork is for size comparison)

These scrapers are great they get right down to the glass and they stay sharp and clean well. No nicks is the scraping edge means that it cleans off a nice wide path of frost. Not the best if you have 6” of snow to remove but they work great with a light layer of frost.

These ice scrapers are amazing! They work so well… I put one in each of my grown kids christmas stockings!
