I've used this stick blender a few times now, and it is a useful item to have. Different settings allow for mixes of varying thickness, whilst it makes fast work of blending soups. I don't think that it is powerful enough though for Indian batters such as dosa (soaked raw rice and lentils).

Great power and value for money

Terrible product, do not buy. It is really difficult to take apart but what is worse is how the bottom half the blade holds on to water. I have jusy used blender and when I detached it a load of stagnant water poured out. Absolutely disgusting, will be now throwing out blended food as I’m worried it has been contaminated. Not happy at all.

If buying from Australia, you will need to buy a power adapter as the power plug is UK.Otherwise it's a good blender with variable speed options.

This product comes with a three-pronged UK wall plug, so I have not been able to use it as it does NOT fit the Australian electricity wall sockets. If you purchase this product, you will need to either purchase a suitable three-pronged UK adapter or get an electrician to cut off the UK plug and replace it with a standard two-pronged Australian plug for the 'live' and 'neutral' wires. The third prong on the UK plug does not have a wire for the 'earth' prong.NOTE:I have used this under 10/ten times since I bought it and it has already fallen apart. The rotor head and stick have come out of the handle! I tried to push it back, but it just came out again in my mix. I would LOVE a REFUND as this is really expensive...
