Still satisfied at 9 months.
How did I get here? A friend has experienced inversion therapy and mentioned that it's the way to go. Since both myself and my lady sit for a good part of the day and she has several issues where this may help. Hearing this, I wanted to get an inversion table but I didn't want to spend mad money. The table was delivered on time by Amazon. Note: the table in it's shipping carton is bulky and heavy! It was delivered to my garage and I manhandled the carton to the lower level. Amazon could have brought it inside the home for an additional charge but I managed ok.Assembly was easy with the clear, well thought out instructions. The small parts carrier was nicely laid out and numbered to follow along with the instructions. It came with its own multi purpose wrench which I used. The table can be folded away but I have no need to do this and is level and very sturdy on our carpeted floor. After 9 months of using the table she says it helps with her sciatica and other ailments. She uses it daily along with a connective tissue workout starting out at 3 and currently at 5 minutes. She has progressed through the incline settings being one away from max. I do use it on occasion finding the padded areas to be comfortable and effective especially with the ankle cushions locked snugly against my boney legs.OK, I am not a doctor nor do I pretend to be. I do know that with regular use it has helped the Queen. Myself, I was hoping to stretch out to 6'5" but my height has not changed though. Peace out!

It works for me!
I'm a 70 year old man. I run, ride my bike and swim regularly and run triathlons. I'm in good shape. I am a retired fireman, and have accepted that I have earned the right to have a weak and sore lower back. It doesn't usually hurt, but one wrong move and I can be bent over for a few days. A couple of months ago I stepped in a hole while running trails, and jammed my lower back. The pain was immediate and sent sciatic pains down my hip and leg. I have been able to ride short rides but running is out of the question, and daily tasks are a chore. It is so sad to watch me bend over to pick up my dirty clothes, I look like an old man. Pain makes you consider options. The idea of an inversion table had never occurred to me, but on reflection, most of my lower back injuries are a result of heavy lifting over many years, so it does make sense that taking the pressure off might help. NOW to the review. My Exerputic table arrived on time. There was minor damage to the packaging, but it was well protected. Assembly was easy for me, and the instructions were quite good. I would suggest getting a "real" set of wrenches as the ones provided are not worth the metal they are printed out of. Everything fits perfectly. Lifting the back board into place alone is a bit tricky so a helping friend would be nice. ALSO make sure you read the instructions about balancing the machine! It is a very nicely built product, strong steel, and very comfortable and easy to use ankle supports. I took it very slow the first few times, making sure I wouldn't get dizzy, or more importantly get trapped upside down. (refer to balancing) I stayed on the first setting until today. This is my 14 DAY report. The pain in my sciatic nerve was gone in the first two days. My lower back feels better than it has in years. Everything is not perfect yet, I still need to be careful when lifting but I am doing a lot more of it lately. The other day I was at the restaurant with family and after sitting for a while I stood up. I groaned as usual expecting it to hurt, but amazingly it didn't hurt at all!! I am noticing this same thing more often lately I use the table twice a day for 6 mins, (ill probably do more later) It is easy to use and because of my results I cant wait until the next time I get on. It may not work for everyone but it is working for me. Thank YOU PS I thought Id add a 6 month follow up. This table has been such a good investment for me. At first I bought this to help the sciatic pain in my hip. That pain has completely disappeared. Its the little things I noticed at first. Just bending over to pick something off the floor used to be a task, but now I don't even thing about it. I wont say I am perfect, but I am running, riding my bike, swimming or doing the Insanity work out daily, and my back is not a big issue. My big problem is that I feel so good I forget to use the table for days or weeks at a time, (this is a mistake!) I have noticed that after days of not "hanging" some of the lower back tiredness does start to return. I am back to using it at least once a day 6 mins and still on the first level. This works for me. I hope this helps!

Simple to work once you take the time to do so.
When I first got the box containing this inversion table and looked into it I was admittedly intimidated but then I decided to lay everything out to see just what I was dealing with. Once laid out, it revealed the ease with which to put it together.Now... I recommend anyone with serious back issues to get assistance in putting it together but other than that, it was pretty straight forward. My first experimental tryout was everything I hoped for - very easy to maneuver, comfortable and I could immediately feel the releasing of tension that comes from my back, hip, and spine. I have to test it quite a bit more but already it is promising and proving to be worth the purchase. I had a motorcycle accident years ago that bent my right hip bone and it has continuously impeded my ability to exercise. I am hoping that continued use corrects this impacted area and stretching it out to allow my foray into exercise once again! I will follow this up in a few weeks of testing as I know how hard it is to deal with such issues, as I have for years now. FYI I never give 5 stars so please don't view this rating as anything but positive...

Safe, easy to assemble, and sturdy. Has all the features of more expensive models
Let me start by saying, my spine is terrible, and has been for decades. I have herniations, parts of it are fused, other parts are bulging. I'm a mess of a human being. This thing helps me be in less pain, and thus less of a mess. Allow me to explain -I've had Teeter inversion tables for a long time. They're great, my only complaint was the ankle restraints (I always opted for the cheaper models.) This comes with really awesome ankle restraints and a easy to use ratcheting bar to tighten them. This table is heavy. Probably heavier than most Teeter tables I used. And it gets you to about an 80 degree decline. Please don't pay attention to the people who complain about not being able to hang upside down like a bat. The extra 10 degrees doesn't make a difference. Google it, even Teeter says 60 degrees is the ideal angle. Also, hanging like a bat may seem cool, but I'm trying to stretch my spine out, not join a trapeze act.I haven't used the heat/massage feature (my table isn't near a plug) but the cushion with the velcro is an added benefit I didn't expect to like so much.I have nothing but good things to say about it. It does the same, if not more, than most any higher priced model.
