Waterproof-ish
I like these boots better than my Icon Stormhawk shorties. They do not breathe at all. If you have funky feet, they will get proper funky after several hours of riding. I say waterproof-ish because I am.sure the boots keep water out, but my pants let water in. When you ride through deep water/at some speed, water splashes up higher than the boots and then runs down into them.
