Be aware, this is a plastic pot.
misleading- 'Environmentally friendly lightweight stone composite'...no its called plastic. Texture looks nothing like the photo. Amazon needs to sort out companies misleading descriptions . You search for stone plant pot and this comes up, made by 'artstone', 'stone composite'....but its a grey plastic bowl!

Perfect for my succulents.
I love this bowl, the drainage system and size are perfect for my succulents and it looks like it’s a really hefty weight, and far more expensive than it is.I love it so much I’ve just ordered another in a different size and diameter.I think for the price it’s a bargain too, especially given the size.Totally worth it.

Sturdy but lightweight and looks good too!
I am really pleased with this purchase, you wouldn't know that it isn't real stone until you pick it up. My Ludisia Discolour orchid looks great in it - really very nice. I did drill a couple of extra holes in the bottom because I like to water my orchids by sitting them in water rather than pouring in from the top and I needed it to drain quickly, however, if you don't need to do that then the single drainage hole (it already has) with the bung in it and the reservoir in the bottom would work very well I'm sure. I like the fact that the reservoir in the bottom ensures that the plant isn't sitting in water; a nice feature. I haven't tried my 'water from the bottom up' technique with it yet - I hope it doesn't float! We shall see how that works out when the time comes.

this is great - I shall order more if available.
this is such a good bowl. For growing the internal system is great. As you can see this was not used for growing but has achieved the required look admirably. Thank you.

Why didn't anyone tell me this wasn't a cereal bowl BEFORE I bought it?!
When i see "bowl" i think soup or cereal bowl, especially when I'm the fool who has to replace a few. So when i saw this i thought "that was so easy to find for once!". That was because it was too easy. Too good too be true. This is a PLANT POT. Don't make the same mistake i made, just because they fail to point it out without making you dig for the information yourself. so really, just rating the title/product name, as people can get away with being unclear or putting in so many words to get hits on searches that what the product truly is becomes lost to the aether. Thanks Amazon, and the people who abuse it. (Note, seemed like a effective pot, so it doesn't get 1 star, not that i wanted pot)

Fantastic product
Was looking for a pot to plant up my 4 mini succulents into and I came upon this clever product. Love the fact it has a ingenious water drainage system which ensures the plants are never left standing in water. Although it's made of plastics, that isn't apparent until you lift or touch it. It looks like a stone planter and has already fooled a few friends into thinking it is one. I love my grey pot and my neighbour equally loves her purple one. Highly recommend.

I love the look of this bowl
Firstly, I love the look of this bowl! It looks so much more expensive than it actually is. And so much heavier as well, when I picked it up I was surprised at how light it was. The size is good, and inside there's a slightly raised up bit, which may or may not be a pro depending on what you want to use it for. I've had five little succulents in it (which are sadly dying...but I think that's more my fault than the pots :P) and they all fit and sit nicely. The only thing I didn't like was the drainage system. There were no instructions with the bowl as to how it works and so far I've not managed to actually see if it is working or not. I've tried taking the plug out the bottom, but nothing happens, even when I filled the empty bowl with water. Aside from that, it's a pretty pot.

Drainage system sucks
The only unique thing about the “unique drainage system” in this pot is the fact that nobody else has ever been dumb enough to come up with such a bad drainage system. Seriously. 4 holes in the bottom of the pot is all you need, but instead you’re given a bad mesh network of tiny holes and a single 2mm wide hole for the water to drain out of. This system has been around for years. Now I’m stuck with a pot that has to be turned 45 degrees on its side in order to drain it.
