I've been looking for a product to use in the mornings under my makeup (I use retinol at night) that could help improve my acne, especially hormonal acne. The products I was finding in the past were too drying and harsh. This feels like a subtly-moisturizing serum (perfect amount for my oily skin), that vastly improves the number of blemishes I get. I use 1 pump all over my face, but targeted in my hormonal acne zones. I'd estimate that I'm getting half the amount of acne as before, or even better. I love how it works under SPF + makeup too - it feels soothing and sinks right into my skin. I absolutely LOVE it!

Whew chile, I love this product. I use it primarily on my forehead and thick brows that require extra attention and some unusual make-up practices. I fill my brows in with eyeshadow powder instead of a pen because it looks softer and more natural, but I needed a primer that was going to reliably hold it in place as I do produce a lot of oil on my forehead throughout the day. Not only is this the best primer for eye shadows I've ever used, but the ingredients keep me from worrying about breaking out. The 'for congested skin' is accurate and does not effect my skin negatively. I've been using this product for over a year and have never broken out from it. (My skincare routine doesn't change very often)Also, my brow hairs have never complied with brow gel's wishes so I have to double down and use hairspray on them and brush them into place with an eyelash comb. Something in this primer acts like "starch" on my brows like you would use when ironing a shirt. It maximizes the hold on my brows and keeps them in place all day compared to just the hair spray alone. I tried gel over it once as a bored experiment and noticed it increased the hold-strength on brow gel, too.This product alone has cut my brow-prep time in half. I received this product as a sample in my Ipsy bag a while back, which I have been subscribed to for a few years now. I like to try a lot of things and not have to spend all the money and full-sized products. This is one of 3 products I've bought after trying from Ipsy. Absolutely taken with it.

I have used this product for years. I will continue to do so. I like the subtle smell, as I cannot handle strong or unnatural scents. It doesn't take much to cover areas, I usually lightly press down on the applicator and a little comes out. I can easily control how much. It's a thin white-ish liquid that dries quickly. It's never irritated my skin. It is a little drying, but I tend to have dry skin and I'll take the small dry spots over the blemishes.It isn't super drying though. Depending on how your blemish is, depends on how it will work. Somtimes I wake up having put it on the night before and the blemish is minimized or much smaller. Sometimes it brings it up as if ready to be cleared and then heal after that. It's effective for me. Nothing will work perfectly, but compared to the brands that offer products with few natural or healthy options for your skin, Balance Me gives me everything I want.

This product changed my life. I originally got a sample of it in my ipsy bag and now I'm on my 2nd bottle. I get pretty bad acne on my chin and this product is the first thing that has been able to clear me up! I can feel my skin getting smoother and some redness is even fading. It doesn't necessarily feel moisturizing, but it's definitely not drying. I also love that it's all natural. The scent is perfect, like a subtle minty smell. It is a little thinner than I'd like, but because it's a thin consistency a little bit goes a long way. I have been using this product in my daily routine for several months now and i will continue to repurchase. Definitely a holy grail item.

This product WAS a five star for effectiveness and mitigating pimples. But then the packaging changed and the cap is low quality. It doesn’t even fit the product correctly. I went to use it, the cap went flying and I dropped the METAL bottle on my $400 eye glasses. Also the formula has changed so the jury is still out on its overall effectiveness. It’s a shame when a good company tries to cut corners.

Stuff really works and works well. Every time I have a break out, I use this and it really helps. Makes the pimples smaller, less red and they go away faster. Also, it doesn't dry out my skin. Awesome product.

This stuff is worth every penny. I have been using it for a few years now and this is the only thing that works for my adult, painful, cystic acne. Cleared me up within a few months of using, and one pump a day keeps my chin clear. One bottle lasts about 2 months since I only use it on my problem area and not my entire face. The fact that it's natural is an added bonus, I love that aspect as well!

Look, I've bought this serum 13 times in 2 years. I use it every single day. As a person with combination skin with hormonal cystic tendencies (yep, even in my 30s), this is a GAME CHANGER. I feel like like the Dad from "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" with his Windex because I lit'rally use this stuff almost every where! Pimple? Yep. Hang nail scab? For sure. Scratched over mosquito bite? Def! It heals. It smooths. I'm not being dramatic when I saw it's a miracle for MY skin. Now, not everyone is the same. I totally get that. But if you've struggled with cystic acne that turns into scabs, only to heal right before your next period, well...GET THIS. You won't regret it.
