I have had these for a few months now and they do solve the problem I had perfectly. No more nosy neighbors. I have been careful not to lower my windows too much in the slight chance of them blowing to the outside of my windows, but that has not happened yet.

These are on the backseat windows. No suction cups. The windows are not lowered. They're fine. It stays in place.

Doesn’t cover the shape of the window on my Kia optima. Too tall that it bends at the top of window.

I find that these are easy to install and basically just stick onto the metal around the window frame so you don’t have to do a whole lot. I know that some of these come with suction cups, but I never had to use them. Furthermore, my four-year-old son Likes that they give him enough shade cover when we’re driving. He had me take them off once and then immediately regretted it and wanted me to put them right back on. That was a win.

In terms of the main function of blocking sunlight... ehh. I guess it does a little? Main concern is that kids can easily pull it off and it doesn't fully go from side to side, so you're kind of left with just 1 side attached along with the top. You could use the suction cup, but that has it's own hassles with opening the windows and if you don't use the suction cup then the wind could blow the product out the window.

Purchased to block the sun from shining in my child's face. It works really well and the magnets are strong enough that it takes a bit of force to pull off.

Alas, the mesh was far too long and narrow to fit my rear window properly. The grommets for the suction cups were too low and well below the window (and they won't stick to textured pleather. I will say, the magnets were strong enough to stick to the inside of the car door which had rubber weather stripping, so that was good. But in the end, it's going back...
