The one handed instant closure is incredibly violent and not one handed for removal. This is twice the price of all the other cd slot phone mounts on Amazon, and so deserves an ungenerous review. My phone has really awkward buttons on the side, and this fits it okay, but it's not really sturdy enough to hold it steady with that kind of leverage- which would be less important if cheaper.

This is well priced and I bought two. One went into my Ford fiesta and the other into my partners BMW 5 series. The fit in the fiesta is very good. The fit in the BMW however isn't as good at all even though they have a photo of a BMW interior with the phone holder being used. It teeth that go into the CD tray needs to be wider for the BMW to spread the pressure out over a wider surface area as it makes two of the radio buttons stick so it's not that great.

Borrowed a family members car for a few weeks and realised my vent mount just didn’t work well due to the vehicles slanted and strange shaped vents.Came across this instead of a suction cup as I dislike mounting things to the windscreen and was very happy with my purchase.The mount is shockingly firm when you make sure it is fully inserted into the cd slot, putting every other mount I have had to shame, especially at the price point.It has an easy secure and easy release feature as well making its ease of use incredible.If you have a CD slot and like me dislike suction options, I would fully recommend this.

Works prefectly on my Galaxy S8 even with my very thick flip cover on it. Sits firmly in the CD slot and comes with additional pads for wider slots which were not needed on my car!

i've had this for a while, but it's now starting to sruggle to hold my samsung J7. I'll look elsewhere for my next holder

Quite simply this is the best mobile phone holder I have used, it fits snugly in the CD slot and does not wobble and move around when driving, the rotate is great and removing the phone is easy, as is placing it in, all you have to do is pop it in and the holder snaps closed. For once I am glad to see the Facebook ads because it led me straight to this!

had a previous dashboard mount from same maker - eventually the suction pad gave way. This is equally robust and well made, super easy to install, holds phone safely without obscuring windscreen, vol controls on phone or fingerprint sensor on phone rear . I use with a pixel 2 xl in a case which is a large phone but no problems.

Really unhappy with the product from spigen. As the car phone holder does not fit snug on the audio system. Even with ththe rubber gripsIt fell few occasions so I have stopped using this
