Wrong Packaging
I ordered this rod and it was sent to me a light rectangular cardboard box. The package arrived flattened and severely damaged. I returned the package unopened. There was so much damaged to the package there was no way the rod inside, could have survived unscathed. I have ordered rods from other places and the rods were shipped is sturdy, heavy duty round tubes. I ordered the same rod from a local tackle store. I like the rod, it is well made. I have ordered a straight butt for the rod. I have an electric reel on the curved butt and plan to put a conventional reel on the straight butt. This way I can switch from deep drop fishing to regular bottom fishing and still use the same rod.
