I needed a better cooler for a road trip knowing it would be in a hot trunk for some long days and this worked great. I'm moving from a cheap Igloo cooler so I can't say it's better than others like the more famous brands, but for me this kept everything very cold even in the longest days in a trunk that likely got to over 100deg at times. It was also the size I needed to fit. I would definitely buy this brand again.

We took this to the beach thus summer. TX was blazing hot this summer. The ice did melt down as expected, we were out all day long, due to the heat. We refilled with ice daily due to the high Temps. Thus is a durable item and we would buy again. As suggested, open the drain valve before opening the lid on the cooler itself. Great color!!

I don't usually leave reviews but this thing was super disappointing. I got this cooler with high hopes that it would be a major upgrade from our $40 Coleman cooler, but it's actually worse at keeping things cold.I followed all the steps to pre-chill the cooler as well as all the items that were going to be in it, even put the whole thing in the fridge for a solid 24 hours with ice in it. We loaded it up and added a bunch more ice and within 24 hours pretty much all of the ice was completely melted. This is in varying temperatures but a large chunk was in an air conditioned car and at night in the mountains where it got pretty chilly.We ended up having to drive about 3 hours round trip to the closest store that had ice, otherwise we were for sure going to loose all of our meats and other perishables. We loaded it up to the brim with ice but again, all of the ice was completely melted within 24 hours.We concluded that this cooler is actually better at absorbing the heat around it than it is the cold from within. This thing actually sucks worse than our cheapo cooler. Save your money and get a cheap one or go for the gusto with a tried and true Yeti.

Very well built and keeps things cold for my 12 hour work shift.

You get what you pay for it not a yeti but ice is cheap and it sits in the work truck well built as of now but time will tell.

We have used this a number of times now throughout the summer. We have had some very hot days this summer and the cooler works great. Holds cool temperatures with out to much ice. Works better if you can keep it in the shade. Only thing we should have bought a bigger size😁
