MANGIA!
this is the only store-bought pasta I've eaten since first trying it in the early '90s. it's delicious, nutritious, and the texture is amazing. al dente is chewy whether hot or cold (I abhor mushy pasta); I like it hot with an extra spicy arabiatta or cold in salads (especially cole slaw). it used to be fairly inexpensive but a few years ago the price at my local market almost doubled so I hadn't had it in a while. needed additional items for a prime pantry box, saw that these were cheaper than even the sale prices at publix, so I filled the rest of the box with this rotini and am SO happy to have it on hand again.this pasta is loaded with "flours" made from good things, including lentils, garbanzos, spelt, and flax seed. that's surely what makes the texture so phenomenal. very happy to know I can now get it from amazon without breaking the bank!

Excellent pasta
I'm a pastaholic and could eat it every day of the week, so the fact that this pasta, in addition to the great taste Barilla is known for, it has protein and additional nutrients, which both aids in nutrition as well as allowing you to feel fuller sooner, making it easier to eat less yet feel full. Best of all, it's not really that much more than the regular pasta.

I live on this! Perfect for vegetarians
As a vegetarian, I eat some shape of Barilla Protein Plus pasta 3-5x per week! The 10 grams of protein per serving means I can add red sauce, or a vegetable, + parm and have a nutritionally complete meal. I also bake the penne with red sauce and cheese. This pasta has just enough wheat to have the taste and texture of REAL pasta! The all chickpea stuff has the same amount of protein, but a nasty texture. This also has fiber + vitamins and minerals.I hope Barilla never stops making this pasta; it has made this vegetarian’s life easier. Carnivores love it, too!

Open, compromised packaging
Every box: The bottom of the box was not totally closed, letting in air, insects may come in, freshness goes away faster.Barilla ProteinPlus Multigrain Pasta, Rotini, 14.5 Ounce, Packaging Open, compromised packaging!I poured two boxes into my pasta container and glued the other two boxes myself!Probably happened at factory while being boxed and all pasta boxes of these Rottini are being sold this way.I would not buy it so from a store shelf. And neither would many shoppers.

Incredible value, healthy pasta
My first time trying this pasta. It’s delicious, either al dente or otherwise. I’ve used it as the starring ingredient in hot dishes, as well as a costar in salads. It’s a pantry staple, which is why I tried it in the first place (refreshing the pantry for security during winter storms.)I also happen to prefer Rotoni as a pasta shape, to any others. It’s easy to eat (not messy) and holds sauce well.

Every so often I really want pasta. So I keep trying...
But these didn't do it for me, really. I used part of them with a red sauce and that was ok.But then I used some to try to do pasta salad. They were awful and gluey. Ew. I won't try that again.I've tried some legume based pasta from Whole Foods recently -- it's lower carb, about the same quality, but a bit more expensive. But for as often as I actually crave pasta, I think I will skip this stuff.

High in protein and fiber, but acts like regular pasta!
My favorite pasta! I can't find it in stores, so was happy to find it online! It has the same amount of fiber as whole wheat, but looks and tastes like regular pasta. The flavor is a little different, but when used with sauce, it's not noticeable.

Best pasta ever!
I've been eating this pasta for years and it is my favorite. Pasta isn't traditionally considered healthy but this does make it slightly more healthy with the added protein. Make sure to follow the cooking directions as it takes a couple minutes longer to cook. The first time you eat it, it may seem heavier or too firm. Cooking slightly longer should solve the problem for you.
