How good is the quality and is the paint good?

Quality is excellent!! It matches the stock black color on the Escalade and looks like it was factory made for it. Ive only had it for 6 months though but it looks brand new still after several car washes and driving through dessert and snow and it still looks new. The quality on the plastic grill is better than chrome plastics in my op pinion, and its easy to clean.

Yes it will fit, I have a 2004 esv and it fit but I didn't like how it looked on my white escalade.

Why does this grille say it fits a 04 escalade but then says it does not fit my 04 escalade ESV?

I don't know, cuz it did fit my 05 escalde perfectly. Just remove your stock grille meaning the whole front except for the headlight and the bumper and install the new one.

Great product

The color and paint on this product is great quality out of the box. I will follow up review on its durability but it matches freat with my black escalade. Installaton was easy (no cutting or complicated steps involved). No instructions in box but pretty self explanatory. You have the option of puttng the black escalade plate on front or note both ways look great unlike other grills that look cheap.
