Great for effects, poor for actual lighting.
Bought these for a hanging umbrella lighting, easy to install and cool selections to choose for lights. Would be a 5 star review, but the total amount of light from 66' and 100 LED's barely puts out 2+ lumens of light! Nice for ambient effects, but not for seeing anything. Would of passed on this purchase if the listed information stated the lumen output of lights. But on the plus side, they look cool, just not that functional for lighting to see anything. Mike R.

VERY FRAGILE, PROJECT SPECIFIC...BUT "CUTE"
14 Nov. I rcvd 2 sets of the 200 LED, 72ft, and 2 sets of the 100 LED, 33ft today, in a box with 4 boxes inside. The 4 boxes, each with one set, seem to have been originally meant to be SWAG, free gifts included with some larger item at an electronics convention or some other similar function. I unpacked them and set them out to catch the remainder of the day's sunlight (make sure you remove the clear plastic from the solar panel). The on/off switch is covered to keep the water out, and is a push button switch, so you can't tell if the unit is on or off. It has to be in the "on" position to charge them, so I hope they came in the "off" position. I think one or more of the switches may have broke the first time I pushed them...we'll see. As you can see in the picture, there isn't much to them! My first impression is...NOT! I will update as I go, with more info and pictures...OK, DEC 3, I finally got the large 2 sets out to hang...they are a royal pain ITA! The wire, as you can see in the pics, is really thin, I'd say it's around 28-30 gauge, with micro thin insulation, thinner than the telco wire I've worked with for the last 20 years. Break one of these LED's and you're screwed. Imagine un-spooling 70 ft of thin wire from the paper card it's wrapped around...Very Awkward! The included stakes are very thin material, and easily crack, as shown. PLUS= for their size, they make a surprising amount of light. Minus=they are VERY fragile. I just turned them on tonight, so I don't know how long the charge will last. ***Bottom Line...I would not recommend this product, unless you have a special project for lights with these qualities.*** update March 8th 2019... The multifunction button no longer works on these lights, they have a mind of their own and only work on one or two functions and then go out. These lights, as I said before, maybe good for a specialized project, indoors. But as I've seen by using them outside, they are very cheaply made. Do not pay a high price for these, check around for the lowest price. I do not recommend buying these lights.

I do t usually do reviews
I bought these lights in 2020 and two of them still work!! Through all the elements. I wrapped them around three trees and two of them still work. I have not touched them since I set them up. I would recommend them 100%.

I have bought many sets of lights from many sellers, these are the worst
I love putting solar string lights in my garden. I have bought multiple variations of these lights from various Amazon sellers, and they are not at all created equal. This year, I made a rainbow trellis with them, so I bought 6 different color strands from 5 different sellers, and these lights were my orange. It ended up being an interesting side-by-side comparison of brands, and unequivocally, THESE ARE THE WORST.Here's why:- Material/construction looks the cheapest. And like, they're all cheap, so that's saying something.- They don't come on automatically like they are supposed to when it gets dark, probably 90% of the time, and they have to be manually turned on. (These are the only lights that have this problem.)- On the rare occasions they do turn on automatically, their light settings have changed to a random pattern. (This seems to be a common defect with these light strands and 2 of the others colors do this as well.)- Their solar charge runs out the fastest by far.- Next to the 5 other lights, orange is noticeably dimmer than the others.- The shade of orange is bleh. Very dingy looking. Definitely a Halloween orange. (In all fairness, I can't fault it for this, because I suppose it is "as advertised", but it's yet another way that it has messed up my rainbow, and I'm salty about it.)In summation, these lights are incredibly janky and just all around disappointing. They have had me convinced that they were completely dead and broken several times, only for me to realize later that no, they are actually still functioning in some capacity. Just not well.

Great outdoor solar lights... really bright with many lighting options!
They don't get any easier than this to assemble and install... you won't need to read the directions to do this.Just open the box, attach the base and place outside where you want them. You just need to be sure you have a good spot to put the box so it gets plenty of light. They do have one AA battery (included) that comes with it. I just changed the battery in the two I purchased about 5 months ago... you want to be careful when doing this as they use silicone to secure the battery which needs to be removed to change the battery. But it is easy... just do it carefully so as not to disturb the wires. The lights are tiny but bright with lots of lighting options (blinking, not blinking, different color options, etc.) The lights are on a thin copper wire that is not very visible during the day. At night, they light up beautifully and stay lit for hours... really pretty in the different spots I have them in my backyard. I may buy a few more... I may have become a light addict! Yes, I'd highly recommend them ;)))

Decent lights
The lights are bright and easy to install. The only down side is the amount of time it stays on after sun down and the cold temperatures don’t help. On average , the lights will stay on about two to four hours depending on the amount of sunlight during the day.

Great value, so pretty!
These are so pretty, the great thing about them is you cannot see the wires on the tree during daylight but they are soooo bright at night, I look at them for hours at night - love them!!!
