For the price, the fastners are of good quallity and the customer service is "first rate". At the same time, we believe the fastners are good for light duty application but for not the heavy canvas materials and the environments we use it in. The fastners we replaced were made of more robust materials (crome plated brass, heavy duty stainless steel).

These work pretty well. Install them with a good set of "locking vice grip" pliers built for installing snaps.

Smaller than what I thought they would be,should have a dime or other change near by in photo to give idea of their size

I was actually pleasantly surprised at the quality and grip of these snaps. You need to assemble these with either a fairly good strike or two, or use a heavy duty plier type fastener.
