Comes with cover and two straps
For the price, this umbrella was a good deal. Decent fabric and two straps to tied the umbrella down. Comes with a cover! The only downside is that I wish the height was taller. All of our other 9ft umbrellas are 4 inches taller.

Well made for half the cost of similar products.
Well made. Agree with previous reviewers that the color is more a deep blue (denim) color which I preferred and hoped for based on reviews. Fabric and mechanics are as good as umbrellas twice the price that I purchased in the past. Very pleased with the purchase.

Sturdy handle
This is my first patio umbrella, though I've had a picnic table that has a center hole for an umbrella for a long time. The first nice thing about this is that it come with a canvas storage bag with a handle, so it's easy to store when not in use for a while, as well as carry. The only assembly is to insert the bottom pole into the top pole. It has a locking button to hold it together, and just needs pushed for disassembly. All three colors look nice, but I finally decided to get the blue. The umbrella is made of a canvas-like material that has some breathability. It's probably not waterproof, but that's not what it's for and it's good enough to keep passing showers off. More importantly, it large and will keep the sun off at least two people throughout the day. It has a hand crank for raising and lowering the umbrella, making it simple to operate; there is a stop at the top so you don't raise it too far. The hand crank is also marked which way to turn for up and down. The other feature is that it can be tilted roughly 45 degrees in either direction for when the sun is not directly overhead; it only has one tilt position i.e. the tilt is not variable.I haven't purchased a base or anchor for it yet, but just inserted it in the hole of my picnic table temporarily. Just from the little while I've had it inserted I can see the reason why it much be anchored. I thought it would be to keep it from flying away, but it's more because the slightest breeze moves it around, especially if it is tilted. This won't be a problem once I get a base to anchor it in (or mount it on the side of my deck). I personally don't think this would work as a beach umbrella planted in the sand, though I haven't tried.
