Good product as a great gluten/grain free substitution - good for the GUT!!!
FANTASTIC substitute for reg flour. HEALTHY - do you research on this - great product especially in smoothies - major thickener tho - like coconut flour - sort of but not heavy, more of a whipped lighter thickener. I am also currently subbing it for Paleo recipes and finding you have to use half or less of it which is great because this isn't cheap. This product will be in our home for a good amount of time. I have spoken with WEDO, questioning them about organic, etc... They are not organic yet but working towards it. This product is non-GMO but they DO use limited spraying (pesticides). Why am I worried about pesticides? "Parents' concerns have been validated by the American Academy of Pediatrics, which in 2012 issued an important report that said that children have "unique susceptibilities to [pesticide residues'] potential toxicity." Now, WEDO explained on how they "steam" the skins - they have to do this in order to get them off as green bananas don't easily allow for skin removal, which we all know from experience. Then they put them in hot water to remove any leftover pesticide removal. I do have slight concerns about this as I know from research the pesticides are often still in the product, however bananas are not in EWG's (Environmental Working Groups) 2014 Dirty Dozen List, and they are no. 32 out of 51 on the pesticide list so they are further than half way down that list - for viewing go here - http://www.ewg.org/foodnews/list.php - So what I have based my final decision on this product is that when I eat it, in my morning raw smoothies, it makes me feel good. I noticed a difference immediately in using it. Not at all what I was expecting. I tried to make a breakfast cake and it didn't turn out at all. It has more banana flavor than I wanted. I haven't experimented any more with it because of the flavor and texture. I'm sure it's a personal preference and it may be better for you, but I will not buy it again.

Nice Product
Very good product and the seller was great to work with. I only wish it were a bit cheaper. But if you're looking for gluten free options, this flour is fun to work with and tastes great. Much lighter than using an almond flour.

Absolutely wonderful!
Absolutely love this product. I live in Hawaii and love Pastele stew and using banana flour makes it so much easier to make. There are so many wonderful things that you can use banana flour for and I've been so pleased with taste.

Their was a slight problem with the order as shipped. I notified WEDO and a day later the issue was corrected far beyond my expectations. The product itself is top notch and the company that represents it as well.

Great Source for Resistant Starch
Now cookie dough is a health food product made with banana flour. Definitely a great product. Please make this a Prime product. I hate paying such high shipping.
