I may get another one as this one was better than expected. Thicker than most, and that seems to make a difference in my application of Kayak seating. I can paddle longer than my friends. It's a bit heavier than others, but that helps keep it in place.

Nice addition to my kayak seat!
I loveeee this seat! It makes kayaking so much more comfortable. I really had some lower back issues if I was out too long but this cushion really helped me last a little longer paddling around. The water seems to not affect it at all, dried very fast!

A Great Kayak Cushion
Was looking for a thick seat cushion for my kayak. Thicker for comfort and to raise my butt out of the water on the bottom of the kayak. I bought several, similar in build, cushions. This Bilbear was the thickest and firmest of the cushions I purchased. It has a cover which prevents the cushion from flattening out and the construction of the cushion means it will not absorb water. Just a shake and a few minutes in the sun will dry it out. A great kayak cushion

The cushion was comfortable, however it was marketed for a kayak seat. It was heavy and it wouldn't float. No way to attach it to the kayak.

Perfect for those with back pain. I have back problems which make kayaking hard. I was so comfortable for 4 hrs in my kayak with this pad. The pad is a little extra thick were the tailbone lands and doesn't feel weird or uneven. This is a must buy. Definitely worth spending the few extra bucks for this thicker one. I will be using this to sit on the bleacher benches and in the driver seat.

J'avais mal au cul et je n'ai plus mal!

Ich fahre regelmäßig nach Norwegen zum Angelurlaub. Da ich dieses Jahr kein brauchbares Kissen dabei hatte und mir das Gesäß schmerzte, habe ich mir dieses Gel-Sitzkissen gekauft. Im Urlaub konnte ich es noch nicht testen, doch habe ich es nun einige Tage auf verschiedenen Oberflächen beim Spazierengehen, am Küchentisch und am Schreibtisch. Es sorgt überall für einen bequemen Sitz und der Hintern kommt gemütlich zur Ruhe. Für das Angeln werde ich allerdings den Schutzbezug entfernen, da sich dort der Haken verfangen würde. Das eigentliche, bienenwabenförmig aufgebaute Kissen, ist aus einem Silikon, aus dem auch ein verirrter Haken ohne Probleme wieder entfernt werden kann. Das ist ein großes Plus. Außerdem ist es vergleichweise schwer und bietet Wind keine Angriffsfläche, weswegen es auch bei Wetter mit etwas "Charakter" an der Stelle bleiben sollte. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Urlaub, an dem ich das Kissen im vollen Einsatz erproben kann.
