Tree pruner

I was sceptical as to this equipments performance at its max reach. However, I was more than impressed. It enabled me to trim an extremely high Hawthorn hedge such that it did not resemble a uniformed No:2 Haircut. I am male aged 77yrs and found it easy to use, so much so I sorted my neighbours hawthorn hedge. Whilst it was like cutting a lawn with a pair of scissors it was great fun and gave me a sense of achievement. Unlike my golf handicap. Note: Its size fully retracted, will stand vertical in the corner of a room. As I only have a small shed and no garage, it will be assigned to the Loft till next required. Hope this is of help to anyone considering purchasing this brand, it does what it says on the packet, Enjoy.

Excellent device, great reach, you just need to consider where you can store it due to its height. Overall its light weight, easy cutting action and height adjustability make it a no brainer make it a highly useful tool for high branches that are within its blade cutting restrictions.

I purchased this in tandem with the saw head over to the branch saw and see my review titled "a cheap edition to a great tool" This pole pruner is very good its 6m reach is excellent and quite sturdy the no string system is excellent (just hope it lasts) The power is has is exceptional and with the right technique you can prune branches bigger than the instructions. It's worth the money just for the genius orange handle system mounted at the bottom of the pole if you at max extension or full arm reach rather than loosing height trying to reach the pruner handle, you can pull the bottom handle to activate the shears, this is the first and maybe the only pole pruner with this ingenious system. ( although it has become abit floppy and I would prefer a twistnlock system to prevent it from breaking unexpectedly in the future. It's a great size bulky but fairly light and stays rigid even under load, my only query will be how to maintain the smooth sliding action of the telescopic bit, as over time water + dirt will inevitably sink into the pole and jam it up. The impressive power shear head is activated by a bike chain which I thought was very impressive and hopefully has better longevity than moving parts The pull cord is neatly connected and runs down the small chanel etched into the pole ( just remember to remove your hand when extending as this can prevent it from moving) I Had this tool out on roadside tree saftey works and could not of completed the job without it. I like how the pruner head folds away (although please read my other review to see how this became a nightmare later on) This is worth £100 and I'd your a pro tree surgeon then I can vouch for this competing with our other professional contenders in the industry.

This tool for the money just wonderful, long reach sturdy light to use, does make light work of lopping high branches, I bought the saw blade attachment, also works well at height on the pull, it’s amazing how quick branches come down at you, take this advice wear hard hat n face protection, Ideal home garden don’t know how long it would last with consistent use, but I’ll say again sturdy so far so good useful with good reach, it’s sharp but should be at new as is saw blade attachment, fits well and easy

Very good. Chopped back reasonably chunky apple tree over-growth and other neglected high branch funkiness. There were other more exotic options that tried to seduce me (sawn-off chainsaw battery powered attachments etc.) for less, but I already have experience with this type of chopper. Buy for job you know. At 4 metres it is a good upper body work out. Standing up a ladder for extra reach, more so. I got everything needed done in my Mum's garden. Was going to buy the fruit picker attachment, but mañana. Tips so far? -Adjust length as necessary otherwise it is unwieldy and frustrating. -Rest on your hip for extra support. -For intertwined branches, chop short lengths. -You can use the jaws as a grip to remove branches in a controlled manner. -Store indoors and keep the guard. -Most important, when finished, a cup of tea and jam doughnut (14 seconds in the microwave) and feel pleased with yourself. Oh, and obvious H&S stuff like make sure your ladder is super stable as men of a certain age perched upon ladders is already heading in to dicey teritory. P.S. Agree with other reviewer: the orange bit was more of a hindrance. I understand why it's there (visual aid), but when you are pushing through multiple branches to reach one further back/up, it gets in the way

Muy buen producto, buena calidad y buenos materiales. Tenía mis dudas sobre la calidad de las cuchillas y el sistema de accionamiento, pero una vez lo he probado he de decir que cumple totalmente con todas mis expectativas. Funciona perfecto, corta perfecto, es bastante ligero incluso extendido y no hay que hacer demasiada fuerza para cortar. No se enreda en las ramas al no tener cuerdas por fuera y es muy práctica la opción de poder girar el cabezal para cortar en distintos ángulos. Lo puede manejar una sola persona sin problemas. Es solo cuestión de práctica. Comparado con mi antigua podadora de cuerdas y poleas exteriores la diferencia es notable. Totalmente recomendable. Por pedir algo, estaría bien un gancho arriba, al estilo de Gardena, que permita enganchar y tirar de las ramas hacia abajo cuando se quedan enganchadas en el árbol.

Ho testato questo strumento per diversi giorni di potatura e il giudizio è ottimo. Nonostante la lunghezza massima, il peso di soli 1,9 kg lo rende incredibilmente leggero e maneggevole. La lama, ben affilata, taglia il diametro massimo consentito senza esitazioni o cenni di cedimento. Una menzione speciale va alla guida arancione in gomma: all'inizio volevo rimuoverla, ma si è rivelata utilissima. È un attrezzo di livello professionale che permette di fare a meno della scala. Consigliatissimo.

der karton war überraschend groß, die maße stehen zwar dran aber hatte mit was kleinerem gerechnet. egal, kam schnell an und alles heile. ausgepackt, zusammengebaut (kleinigkeiten) und ab in garten. hatte vorher noch keine teleskopschere mit der länge. der anfang war sehr ungewohnt und recht wackelig bis ich raus hatte wie man damit am besten arbeitet. auch das man durchs ziehen schneidet war sehr ungewohnt. ab dem punkt an dem man anfängt das es läuft muss ich sagen: das ding ist ein traum. saubere schnitte mit wenig krauftaufwand und die erreichbaren höhen sind echt wahnsinn. die plastikspitze als anzeiger hat echt vorteile ist aber manchmal auch im weg. am ende alles ne übungssache. sie ist recht leicht für die größe was sich bemerkbar macht wenn man sie voll ausgezogen frei bewegen muss. wäre sie schwerer wäre das arbeiten deutlich anstrengender und nerviger. hab mittlerweile schon einiges damit gearbeitet seit ich sie habe und sie bleibt weiterhin top. man sollte sie regelmäßig reinigen und auch mal die kette etwas ölen würd ich sagen ansonsten ist sie sehr wartungsarm bisher und schneidet, schneidet, schneidet... selten das mich ein produkt von anfang an so begeistert hat. fazit: qualität: überragend funktionalität: der wahnsinn preis leistungsverhältnis: recht teuer aber durch die qualität durchaus gerechtfertigt. ich würd sie definitiv wieder kaufen deswegen gibs von mir ne ganz klare kaufempfehlung. als nächste werd ich bei gelegenheit den sägeaufsatz bestellen und testen
