Protein powder is a tough buy. I've tried a ton of them over the years, and very few have lived up to the hype in their promotional info. Most are in the "okay" category, but I never bought twice. Some I've had to mix with something else to get past their idea of "delicious". I mean, do they even try their own product? Taste is only one part of the equation and, for me, only comes into play once the ingredients are right. OWYN passes the test. No sugar (they use monkfruit), two net carbs, 30g protein, the amino acids, and low saturated fat. Plus, with 27 servings at roughly the same price point as many competitors who offered about 20 servings, that prompted me to try it. I give this product five stars for the overall quality and taste, but I will say it is not the best tasting chocolate protein powder I've ever had. It's good, though I think there are a couple of brands that are slightly better but they have more sugar. So, it's a balance. I continue to buy OWYN because of all the reasons stated, and I also buy others. I like a little variety.

This is the best protein I've found. It's so good, low carb; tastes good and pure, doesn't have junk in it like a lot of proteins. And, I'm grateful it's plant based and on whey. (Whey might contribute to acne.) I make it last by using less of it. I put it on peanut butter toast. It has a really nice texture, and it makes good smoothies (with stevia added). Very grateful I found this. I've tried it in coffee: That's not really my thing, protein adds a texture and thickness. But for protein coffee, it's good. If that's what you're into, you'll probably like this one.

I’ve tried several protein powders over the years, and this OWYN Pro Elite Chocolate has honestly been one of the better tasting ones. The chocolate flavor is smooth and enjoyable without tasting overly artificial or overly sweet. Mixed with almond milk, it blends really well and makes a creamy shake that is easy to drink. One of the biggest positives for me is that it is not chalky and doesn’t leave that unpleasant aftertaste that many protein powders have. It also gives me a nice steady boost of energy and keeps me feeling full longer without feeling heavy. Pros: * Great chocolate flavor * Mixes very well with almond milk * Smooth texture * No chalky taste * No weird aftertaste * Gives good energy * High protein and plant based Keeps me feeling full for many hours Cons: * The scoop tends to be buried all the way at the bottom of the container, which is messy and annoying to dig out * The powder itself is very light and can “poof” into the air easily when scooping or pouring Overall, I would definitely buy this and have it on subscribe and save. The taste and texture alone make it stand out from many other protein powders, and the nutrition profile is excellent. Small packaging annoyances aside, it’s a really solid product.

to be completely honest, this stuff tastes really bad, but there aren’t a lot of other protein powders i’m not allergic to, so good job

I've tried quite a few pea protein powders out there. This is the brand I keep coming back to. It has great flavor, sets well on my stomach, blends very easily, doesn't have that terrible chalky mouthfeel a lot of pea proteins have, leaves me feeling full, and makes me feel good about using a product with minimal ingredients.

Good price for this low sugar highly rated item. Not overly sweet, which is exactly what I needed.

This protein is delicious and I love how clean and tasty it is. I use ripple pea milk and peanut butter and a few other goodies but I is the absolute best!!! Best and favorite one and it's like none other on the market

I buy it because of the protein and nutrition and because it doesn't have added sugar. It is not quite chocolaty enough for me but I buy a bag of unsweetened 100% cacao and add a scoop in to increase the chocolaty flavor.
