These are really pretty and they do the job. That said, putting them together was a total pain in the @#@#$. I got better at assembly as I progressed from the 1st through the last. I think next time I'll pay the extra $10 and buy fully assembled ones as I did prior to this purchase.

These wire cloches are made better than appeared in the post. Super strong and sturdy and the fit was perfect. They were a little tricky to assemble at first but got the hang of it after assembling the first. Didn't bother using the stripping or the top handle - not necessary. Well done! A little pricey but great quality that will last season after season, which is why overall these are a good value!

The built in clasps do not hold and makes the rest of it askew. We needed to use qn alternative way to secure.

While the cloches were annoying to put together, they work very well. A good buy if you need multiples. Some of the nuts were painted on to the screw so were impossible to use the rings on the top. This did not ruin the usefulness of the cloches. I would give them 5 stars except for this problem.

Yes it's made for plants, but I have a young golden retriever that LOVES to chew. Toys, bones, rubber, plastic. My post type sprinklers didn't stand a chance. I have replaced 4 sprinklers three times. No spray deterrent worked, no behavioral training worked, nada. So I figured to purpose these as a physical barrier. Sturdy enough to keep the chomper away but open wire for the sprinkler to continue it's job.It works. Happy yard, safe furbaby.

The three sides do not line up; the so-called handles at the top don’t work because there is no way to secure them to the cage so the online image is worse that misleading; it is wrong. In assembling the cloches I felt like I was trying to get gloves on a one-year old: i.e., like being unable to get the child’s fingers in the right slots. They seem terribly unstable but I will give them a try. At least I got them on sale. I would not recommend them at all. They get two stars because they might work for all their flaws; had I thought otherwise they would have earned one star (or none!).

The concept is good, but the actual product is not. It does not assemble as easily as the instructions read. I am still trying to put the first one together. The metal frames do not bend to fit to the other two pieces.

Squirrels love to dig around in our garden and destroy plants. These cloches help protect young plants. We like the simple black metal design. These work effectively to cover and protect plants. They look nice in the garden and blend right in. These do not come assembled and have little flimsy metal tabs that bend to hold the cloche together. These work okay, but putting them together was slightly annoying because the edges are sharp and snag. Once bent into place, the bendable tabs have not moved. The cloches do stack for easy storage, which is a plus. We have not noticed any rusting or discoloring of the black metal so far. We have had these up for about 4 months now. Overall, these are okay, though we prefer the cloches that arrive assembled and do not have multiple parts. We also haven't used the plastic plant tags and they just seem a bit wasteful.
