Worth ever cent, easy to install and great customer service
My original pump started leaking badly from the weep hole so I knew it was done. The engine was still strong so I started looking for a new pump. This one looked like a great value so I ordered it and received it very quickly. So I imagine you want to know how it was to replace, well read on. Really anybody should be able to do the change even if you need to get help from a friend or neighbor. Removing the old pump is not the least bit difficult. You need minor hand tools. The pump is mounted with four bolts, many times it is a metric size hex head. No, they are not very tight, they loosen easily. The pump merely slides off the 3/4 inch shaft. That's it, really. If it doesn't slip right off just place a screwdriver on each side of the pump between the engine and pump and with gentle force it will slide off. Use two screwdrivers or it may bind since the force isn't straight with one. Clean the shaft, put a thin coating of oil or grease on it. Make sure you retain the long square key and that it is installed in the slot (called a keyway) in the shaft.. Install the pump by lining up the hole and keyway in the pump with the shaft. After you slide it on the shaft simply turn the pump until the water input and output are correctly oriented. Install the four bolts and you are done. The lubrication is already in the pump and it is ready to go. The service was superb from the supplier and the product works great. You can do this!

Works fine
This pump bolted on to my Honda GC160 engine without any problems. I had to add two additional items to complete it. One was a couple of feet of plastic tubing for the soap inlet. I re-used the soap tube from my old pump for this. Next, I had to buy a quick-connect adapter for the high pressure outlet as the one from my old pump would not fit. This was easily done by purchasing an M22 to 3/8 Quick-Connect brass connector from Home Depot (SKU 719610, internet #100664030, Model # AP31030B) for $10. This adapter is a perfect fit.The pump functions well. In use, i find that the soap inlet opens up when I use my soap nozzle but not when I use my high pressure spray nozzle. I guess this is because the inlet needs a certain volume of water flowing past it to open up and my lower pressure nozzle provides that volume. I am fine with this because I only soap with my low pressure nozzle anyway. If it ever became a problem, the soap inlet can be removed and modified I suppose. The fit and finish of this pump is good and I am satisfied with the transaction and the product.

It works great!
We have had this pressure washer for about 13 years and the pump finally gave out. After getting sticker shock for an identical new one I checked on Amazon. To install remove the 4 Allen head bolts holding it on the engine and using a rubber mallet to knock the old one lose. My only complaint is that this doesn't come with a new replacement shaft woodruff key. When I ordered the pump the correct replacement key appeared in the "often ordered together" window at the bottom of the page. I highly recommend you get a new key because my old one was well rusted and unusable. As far as pressure goes it seems about the same as the old one. You can adjust it up a little more as it has a pressure setting adjustment nut. The old one was 2400 psi and this new one is a 3000 psi. Compared to buying a new pressure washer this pump was a wallet saver. I didn't give a 5 star rating for longevity because I have no idea how long it will last. It looks well made so I would be surprised it it didn't last a long time. Just pressure washed a metal building with it and it worked great!

I only had one issue
I got a Honda pressure washer for free but needed a new karcher pump. Found this one and it came quick. It mounted easily enough also there is a small leak somewhere in the assembly that I cant seem to figure out.The only real issue I ran into is the output hose placement. I'm not sure this is really a design flaw in the pump since it's not specific for my pressure washer but the output is directly in line with the handle of my pressure washer. With the existing brass extension on it, I don't have enough room to attach my pressure hose. I managed to find a much shorter adapter at ace that was karcher brand. That cost me an extra $15 to be able to get my hose to screw out without a kink. Theres still a bend but its manageable.Other than that, I have great pressure and does exactly what I needed.

Great pump- powerful and fit perfect.
It bolted right up. Already had my old pump off, waiting for this one. It arrived yesterday evening. I had it bolted on in 10 minutes. Connected water line and hoses, purged all the air out of the line before starting. Fired up my gas pressure washer and this little pump really puts out some power. Ran it three hours non-stop, works perfect. I can't comment on the longevity since I've only used it once, but I definitely would recommend this pump. It was less expensive than the rebuild kit for the old wobble plate pump. Has more power. Bolted directly to my Karcher 2400 with Honda GC160 engine.

Great replacement pump on a gas powered Powermate PW!
I have an old Powermate gas powered pressure washer who’s pump stopped working about 2 years ago, it sat in my storage shed until aI decided to try to fix it. In my search I came across this pump, it seemed affordable and had good reviews. My PW has a 3/4” shaft with 3/16 key and in measuring the bolt pattern it seemed to match this pumps dimensions. I pulled the trigger!! Just got it today and I installed it in 10 minutes, it took me way longer to replace a dried out (busted) fuel line. Once corrected, I fired it up and it works beautifully!! Very pleased! My PW was a 2400 psi and the 2800 psi is a nice upgrade. HAPPY CLEANING!
