Pretty good, but not waterproof.
Just a quick note. All in all, this are pretty good. Great in fact for the money. On waterproofness.NO.They are *not* waterproof. Second day after I got them, i woke to temps hovering right at freezing and rain pouring down.I figured this was a perfect time to give them a try. I ride a bicycle for transportation and for work. So i got dressed, mounted up and headed out in the downpour. Within 1 mile, it felt like I was getting wet, but i know from other stuff thatyou can think you are getting wet, but you aren't. Within 2 miles by the time I got to down, i could feel water running downmy shins from my knees when I was pedalling, so, it was pretty obvious they had wetted through and I was in fact wet, andgetting pretty cold too.. Got into town to my first delivery of the day, and thought about changing, but didn't bother, as Iwas chilled, but not yet uncomfortably chilled. I made my first run, which took about 30 min setting up inside at the deliverydestination, and I was plenty comfy, starting to get maybe a bit too warm. My body heat dried them out pretty quickly all in all. Now, those of you know who know, know that you really don't want to be in a place where you are relying on your body heatto keep you dried out, that way lays hypothermia/exposure.So, no, they are *NOT WATERPROOF* in any sense of the word.I also took note that the garment itself makes no claim to waterproofness. The description does, but I found no tagon the garment itself to that effect.I like these, and am very pleased with them, except for the waterproofness issue. I think they'd be just fine in a regularlight rain for a little while, or snow, but in a real rain, not so much.

length and waist perfect, not too tight in the seat
Bought these for my son to wear at a Scout weekend backpacking. He is 5'8", 150 pounds, slim build and the sizing of these pants (size small) is right on...length and waist perfect, not too tight in the seat. Temperature was between 25 F and 35 F all weekend, he wore a thin base layer with these pants and was perfectly comfortable. However, the snap button is weak and pops open nearly every time you bend over.As stated in another review - NOT WATERPROOF. Decent insulation from wind, definitely better than jeans but not completely windproof like snowboarding pants.Pros - sizing, flexibility for active wear, general warmth.Cons - Snap button on pants pops open, and included belt should be discarded, buckle is only a small weak tab. Ended up using it as an extra pack lashing strap to occasionally attach jacket to pack.

HUGE BELT
Just got them today. Fit nicely. I got the XL size. I'm 6'2", 230lbs, 34" inseam. Length is good. Waist is just right. The belt they sent is comically long. I'm a 38" waist and there's an extra 13" of belt hanging. These pants would not fit a person that would need this belt. Not a big deal, just kind of funny.Very comfy, stretchy rip stop material. Will update to a 5 star if they perform well during my campouts.

Nice wind proof pants
These pants are amazing so so very comfortable and soft on the inside. The material on the outside is windproof and does a good job of keeping the wind out. The stitching on the knees conforms to your knees when they bend really well. The zippers on the pockets work really well and keep things in your pockets when you're on your motorcycle you don't have to worry about things falling out of your pockets. The back pocket also has a zipper works just the same way it's great. The length of these pants works really well plenty long keeps the wind out. Even when sitting there is plenty of length. The built-in belt is very easy to adjust both tightening and loosening is easy as pulling on one side and then to loosen it you just grab the clasp flip it and pull it so super easy to both tighten and loosen and to unbuckle couldn't ask for anything easier there. The style of these pants are really nice. The style I got was a two-tone pattern gives it nice definition. The touches of orange and the zippers and the stitching are a nice detail.Overall I would recommend these for anyone that is going to be doing outside activities whether you're going to be skiing hiking motorcycling in colder weather hunting.

Excellent product. Right price
Excellent product. Right price, fast shipping, perfect sizing, works as described. I didn't wear them in rain, only January snow. Worked very well along with a medium baselayer to stay warm in driving winds along with moderate snow. Didn't take long to break in. The pants legs are the perfect size to cover the top of your boots and not let air in. There is only one small downside and that is that the fly doesn't quite lay flat. It is kind've wrinkled which shows the zipper. I also wish they had some type of zipper in the legs for ventilation when they become too warm. Otherwise, great pair of pants.

I love these pants
I love these pants. The build quality is great for the price, they are cozy warm, stretchy, and comfortable. Fleece-like on the inside. Great bang for buck. You should order a size up, I am usually an off-the-shelf L (5'11", 178lbs) and the XL fit me perfect (the waist is 39" on my XL's)I haven't tested the waterproof claims but there's nothing on the pants that would indicate they are waterproof, there's just the "windstopper" tag on mine. The belt is kind of chintzy but it seems to work fine.

Treated for ticks and they became my favorite camp pants.
I needed light pants for hiking the woods of northern MN. These pants are awesome, treaded for ticks and they have become my favorite camp pants. Thin and very tough, deep woods camping and kayaking are a breeze now!
