Great choice of earphones !!!
These are quality earphones at a great price. I’ve owned a pair of Beats but they broke after a while and the earphone cover kept coming off. Should not have been as flimsy for the price. I’ve also owned some Sony headphones and they couldn’t stay charged long and had issues connecting to a device to the point it was more beneficial for me to use the broken Beats. These JBL JBuds were not only cheaper than my previous headphones, but they are also very easy to connect to a device, two at a time actually. The sound and noise canceling on these are also very impressive. They hold a charge very well, not as long as the Beats, but definitely longer than the Sony headphones. I only have to charge maybe every 3-4 days after roughly 4-5 hours of usage per day. The comfort of these are great! So light and portable you can forget you have them on. If you are looking for a great pair of headphones for a good price, these are a great option.

Great Headphones! Definitely recommend
I just got these and am incredibly impressed. The sound quality and ANC are really good, though the noise cancellation won't cancel out heavy winds it cancels out pretty much everything else - I'm on a main access road and couldn't even hear the heavy duty machinery doing road work just outside my home. They stay on without any issues. I've done some workouts with them on as well and have had no issues. It's nicely padded and fit snuggly surrounding my entire ear, so it doesn't cause any soreness or bruising. I was especially worried about that as I have some easily irritated helix piercings, but it's not been a problem at all - I even fell asleep with them on. It's been running for at least 24 hours without charge and are at medium battery. They also don't drain the battery on my phone too fast and the Bluetooth range is pretty good. I've left the house without my phone to head into the yard and hadn't realized because my music kept playing as clearly as ever. They're easy to carry around and fold without issue. I did buy a separate carrying case for these headphones as well. All in all, they seem pretty sturdy, great sound, the noise cancellation works well, they're very comfortable, incredibly long battery life so especially convenient for people who travel fairly often or get pretty busy and I no longer have to worry about swapping out earbuds for charge - something I constantly had to do with my Galaxy Buds. It's great value for money. The only problem I had was that the Type C cable that came with the headphones to charge wasn't working when I initially checked everything.

10/10
I have to say I am so picky with headphones, but these are genuinely amazing. I have had sony and apple and they always annoy me. These work so well idk what's different but they're amazing. So comfortable, I can wear them for hours and it doesn't bother me. The noise cancelling is amazing, and I genuinely don't hear when people are talking to me, but I can change it to off or "be aware," which I love. The battery lasts so freaking long, I can listen all day and then turn it on the next day and if still says "battery full" Also, I don't know if this is a new thing, but I connected it to my laptop and my phone, and it will stay connected to both and whichever plays sound it with auto play from that device. How cool is that??? I have had many work meetings and phone calls on these, and the sound quality was always great. I don't listen to much music on them, mostly audio books, so I can't really say how the sound quality is? All I know is that a narrator's voice can be giving me a headache coming from a speaker but then on the headphones it's much better. 10/10 no notes. (I did get kinda sweaty in these so I got cotton covers, but that's probably a me thing + it's summer)

What I needed and wanted. Quite Excellent.
I have a fat head, and I cannot wear ear buds. I was looking for a comfortable, over the ear headphones that had noise canceling and very good sound quality. I am not familiar with JLab, and I decide to give them a go and purchased here on Amazon. The headphones are exceptionally light. Have all the adjustments for my head, and the ear cups are very comfortable. The quality of construction is very good. Setting the headphones up on my Samsung S24 took seconds. The JLab app allows me to adjust the headphones for music or movie mode, which is very cool. I am testing them now with some of my Amazon Music albums, and the range of the headphones is rather amazing. I will be testing the noise cancellation this weekend. Overall, very pleased and will be testing them more thoroughly. For now, I am impressed.

Good value solid BT headphones, middling ANC
Viewed strictly as BT headphones, the JBUDS LUX are pretty decent. I find the sound quite good for movies and fine for casual music listening. The ANC and pass-through features are of some use, and the headphones are comfortable enough for, e.g., watching a movie, though the earcups don't "breathe" very well (I notice some reviewers refer to them as "sweaty", which is fair enough), so you'll probably want to take some breaks between calls (it makes a surprisingly good phone headset) or if listening to music for an extended period. If you're interested in knowing more, details follow. USE CASE (you can skip this if not interested): Just to provide context, I'll mention I bought these at an attractive price for dedicated use with my living room TV, which supports Bluetooth but puts the pairing/unpairing bits behind such cumbersome menus, and behaves so badly with dual-connect BT devices (forcing you to completely reset BT volume, etc., when the headphone's interrupted by another device), that I prefer to just keep a pair of headphones paired exclusively to that TV. Since I normally listen through a home theater sound system, I prefer to use more value-priced headphones for such occasional private-listening use. SOUND QUALITY: It's what headphones are for, and the JBUDS LUX does the basics competently. They're replacing my old blue JBL E55BT phones (which were getting a bit the worse for wear, various bits of plastic trim breaking and the earcup cushions falling apart), and get pretty close to those in sound quality, the JBL being a bit "brighter", the JLAB's high end a bit more subdued, for what that's worth (no EQ tuning with the app for this comparison since I'm pairing them directly with a TV); as TV headphones they're kinda great. I'm no audio critic, but I've watched some music videos with them and there's nothing distracting about their performance, which is more than I can say for some other bargain headphones I've tried. Switching to them directly from my Bose one can notice less distinct highs and less overall "warmth" to the sound, but heard on their own they're perfectly fine. ANC FEATURES: Overall noise-canceling performance is a bit unusual. First off, hats off to JLAB for having an actual OFF option in the ANC control cycle, not just an ANC/aware toggle. In cases where neither ANC nor pass-through is needed, turning those off maximizes the already long battery life, a welcome option. Passive sound isolation is pretty good, so I usually have the ANC turned off. As for the ANC itself, my experience has differed from reviewers that claim turning on the ANC does less than the headphones' passive sound isolation, in that my own casual testing showed significant noise reduction. It probably depends on what sounds you're trying to cancel - it works best at reducing the volume of continuous background noise like fans, road noise, etc., not so much for more transient sounds. So it's somewhat effective and not very sophisticated, and that's about what I'd expect for this price point. I won't be taking them on an airplane (where my Bose QC 45s do really well), so we'd need feedback from someone who's tried that for more of a torture test. The headphones' "aware" mode is a different matter, and unlike what I've experienced on other headphones offering a pass-through feature. It's quite functional, but somewhat low fidelity. While it's easy to hear your surroundings in this mode, sound quality is somewhat boxy/tinny, a bit better than an old landline phone (should you be old enough to recall ever hearing such a thing). The Bose headphones mentioned above are my daily drivers for music and podcasts, and by comparison has such natural sounding pass-through I sometimes forget I have them on. That's not something that would happen with the JBUDS LUX. MICROPHONE: Especially in light of the so-so pass-through sound quality, one surprising feature that bears mention is the microphone quality on phone calls or meetings. Folks on the other end of the line tell me the sound matches or surpasses that of my old Sennheiser and current Bose headphones. I tend to prefer boom mics, but apparently what's built into these earcups is better than I'd have expected, so on top of everything else it would be a good phone headset. COMFORT AND BUILD QUALITY: These are quite comfortable for value headphones. Both the earcups and headband are well-padded, and the adjustment mechanism feels solid, with satisfying detents to make it easy to return to your preferred setting after, e.g., collapsing for storage. The controls are also satisfying to use, with enough tactile feedback to ease operating by touch alone (more on this below). The earcup pads are covered with a soft vinyl-type material while the part of the headband sitting atop your head is fabric-covered. I think fabric earcup pads would have improved comfort, since the material covering the stock pads doesn't really breathe too well, though this would likely compromise the sound isolation a bit. Going back to the Bose QC 45 as reference, its protein leather earcup pads breathe well enough that I've worn them on multi-hour plane flights without my ears getting uncomfortably warm. You'll want to take occasional breaks from the JBUDS LUX. CONTROLS: The controls are easy to operate and do the job quite well. The three control surfaces are: - a round button on top to cycle through ANC settings (ANC, aware/passthrough, off) - a rocker/toggle in the middle to handle volume (just click once in either direction to go up or down), track skip (push and hold to jump forward or back, though as with any such control the exact behavior will depend on the specific device or application), or cycling through EQ presets (press both sides of the toggle at once). - a round button at the bottom that handles power, BT pairing, call answer, and even summoning your Google/Siri assistant. I got used to these quite quickly even with limited use. Like a lot of modern BT devices, the JBUDS LUX provides voice prompts for certain events like startup, shutdown, etc. The voice is clear and easily understood, though I'd note the mild disappointment in its tone when saying "JLAB off" is amusing. One small thing worth mentioning is that the headphones not only report their level of charge to your paired device (if, e.g., your phone shows you this), but also announce the state of charge during power-up. That voice info is really useful in my case, since the TV I'm using doesn't report battery level for connected BT devices. I make special mention of this because the EB55BT, like some other JBL speakers and headphones I've owned, never reports battery level at all, just produces an annoying beep when the battery is "low" (whatever that is) that gets more frequent until you charge it back up (or the headphones just stop, I guess). VALUE/RATING: Something to consider in assessing the value of these is the price. I got them on Prime Days for less than $50, but they're currently closer to $80, which is getting close to the "on sale" price of some better hardware. That said, the price on the JBUDS LUX swings about quite a bit, so maybe put it in your shopping list and keep an eye out for buying opportunities. For $50 this is a 5-star value, but the listed "full" price knocks this down to a four-star.

My first impression after a week of use
After a week of using them, I have some thoughts on it. The active noise cancelation works great in the work environment I'm in (working at a machine shop). It doesn't block out the noise but it does help with the high pitch sounds from the machines. Beats the solution of me using earphones and ear muffs on top by A LOT. The sound quality is really solid. Took a while to get them to fit how I want and they fit real comfortable considering that I wear slightly thick frame glasses. They don't press against my ears so that's a major plus. It is claimed to have 40 hours of battery life with ANC on and i got about 35-36 hours out of it with moderate to high volume with ANC on. With me working at a machine shop, I would have to do longterm testing on its durability in this work environment before I can do a followup. I tried the be aware feature and it is nice to toggle it when needed in certain scenarios. I did get these on sale for $50 and it is 100% worth getting on sale. I highly recommend if you work in an office environment or just in a casual environment like listening to music in your room or class or whatever as it'll shine through those use cases.

Affordable over ear headphones
It took me a while to adjust to the sound quality and compared to my earbuds by a different manufacturer, but I've come to really enjoy it so far after a few months of using them. It takes some time to know which EQ settings work best for the audio you are playing (podcasts, music, etc.). I just recently flew on a plane with them and used the noise cancelling, which it's obviously not going to block out everything, but it helped subdue the overall intensity of the engines (like those high pitch acceleration sounds) and background chatter. I'm an anxious traveler, so I was glad I brought these, because I was surprised at how much it helped during the flight itself. When I had my music up enough, I really couldn't hear much of anything too, but I honestly had the music off for much of the flight because I guess the headphones did enough of what I needed it to do to stay relaxed and shut my eyes. Similarly, they do well on road trips to block out highway noise. Battery lasts a LONG time and also doesn't take terribly long to charge. Fast connect to Bluetooth. Notably super comfortable as it covers the entirety of my ear and doesn't press into my head to where it may cause some pain. My one con is that I don't really like how it essentially suctions itself to my ears, meaning it has zero breathability. It doesn't make me sweat or anything, but it may cause some head pressure sensitivity depending on what you're doing while wearing them. Sometimes I'll pull off one of the ears to the side to alleviate that buildup of pressure I've noticed if it's bothering me, but it's not enough for me to consider docking a star in my opinion, since I've been assuming it's a result of the ANC component. Haven't been bothered enough by it (yet) to looked into it I guess. Overall, I'd definitely recommend getting this pair if you're looking to get an overhead set, especially if you haven't had much or any experience with owning one. I got mine at maybe just over $40, so I advise checking in when these go on sale to snag a pair.

Honest Review: Almost Made The Cut. How Unfortunate.
Pros • They played well enough music and sound. • They had decent noise cancelling (depending on needs). • The call quality was crisp and people could hear me clearly and very well. • Battery life is exactly as they say. It is wonderful. Cons • After less than a month of use, they broke on the sides because I would gently and just barely extend them to place them on my head or take them off. This time I went to put them back in the box and I realized there were cracks on the sides and it fell right off. Turned on my desk lamp and saw it was broken! The plastic is very brittle and can not handle larger head sizes so you have to have a very small head or rarely any hair to increase the size thereof. • Noise cancelling only blocks out louder noises, not things like talking and siblings moving around the house and banging and making noise. Overall, 3 stars because the headphones are loose now that there is a crack in the sliding piece. I cannot use it now without risking further damage and amazon perhaps rejecting my return. It is disappointing that it cannot handle any form of stretching without accumulating damage. Beware those with larger heads or hair on said head (whatever forces a slight stretch of the headphones to get them in your head). These cannot handle that.

Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Most underrated ANC headphones
This is my second pair I invest in my life. Due to noise sensitivity, I have tried Sony, Senheiseur, Boss and Beats. These ANC headphones sound/ANC quality are really good however they are heavy with higher price. I then came across a review online about this pair. Happened to be on sale so I clicked the button straight away. First the headphones were a little bit clammy for me but I thought I might have to break it in so continue wearing. The next day I was wearing with no discomfort. The cloud cusion pads are so soft. Headphones so light. Althought ANC couldn't compare with the higher end brands but it is still good. I love the fact is has Movie mode that helps me to hear the audio from the movies a lot easier. The base and Jlab signature sound effects gave me goosebumps when I first tried it with music on. I was skeptical at first but now I am loving it. With the friendly price, no headphone case is expected. Can always buy one for around $10.

Great deal for the price!!!
Best in class in this budget segment . ANC does fine. Superior sound quality. One can compare the clarity to jbl live 770 NC which I use along side. Needs little tweaking through jlabs app. I found sound clarity to be nice with a good soundstage too for this price. App supports updates too and got an update immediately after connecting for the first time. Ear cuffs are designed uniquely than any other over the ear headphones. One little issue with the ear cuffs though, it gets really hot around ears after some time and we sweat heavily. That issue may be because the muffs provided covers entire ear with a very snug fit. Earmuffs are soft and durable. Battery life is amazing. Haven’t charged even once since started burning in. It’s been more than 30 hours playing on 70% volume with ANC on and still the battery shows 60 %. Over all good built quality is good even though made of plastic and doesn’t feel cheap. Bluetooth connection is great and supports google fast pair. Haven’t noticed any lag or disconnection ever. Just go for it if you are in budget and you won’t be disappointed.
