This is definitely different from other hoses I have had as in it's the first expandable hose. It definitely expands. I do like the brass fittings which are secure and seem very durable. I like all the different settings on the head, it has plenty of options and it is comfortable to hold a long time. Overall, this hose exceeds expectations in functionality, durability, and convenience. It’s a game-changer for any gardening enthusiast! I found in this hose the perfect replacement for my old one.

I now have 9 expanding hoses. I like them that much. The light weight and small size of these flexible hoses provide a huge advantage. Previously, I hesitated to order a 100-footer. This is my 2nd (maybe 3rd) 100 ft-er. This 100 ft hose is easier to wrangle than an old-fashioned 25 ft hose.Today I hooked up a flexible hose for The Husband to wash a vehicle. He was frowny about it. But… the hose is flexible, maneuverable, and LIGHT. He is now a convert.I filled this hose, used it a bit, closed the end valve, and let it sit for about a couple of minutes, then opened the valve again. The hose did not leak.I don’t know how many expansions this hose will tolerate. I don’t know how well this will hold up to freezes, hot hot summers, or the occasional animal hoof. I like that this hose is easy to move and store.The package also includes hose washers, a hose hanger, and a spray nozzle that I did not test.My rating: very good.If this lasts 2 or 3 seasons, I will be pleased. If it lasts longer, I will be exceedingly pleased.

Very impressed how expandable the hose can be, besides being long it can stretch a long way! Love the water hose gun, it has many options to choose from. Very easy to move around, light weight & the hose does not tangle. Love it !

An expandable hose is a new concept to me, but I was really tired of dragging and winding my years old, heavy duty 50 footer around the yard and decided to give this one a try.What I like: super lightweight and flexible. So light it actually feels weird to me. Hasn’t kinked in the brief time I’ve been using it. So much easier to wind on the stand than that old monster, which was like wrestling an anaconda. The brass fittings seem like good quality and all fit well. Nice that extra gaskets are included.What I don’t like: ain’t no way this is 100’. The instructions say that it may take several uses for the hose to expand to its full size. I’ve used it a couple of times and it’s going to have to really do some serious expanding soon because it’s 50’. Also, the hose sort of moves on its own. Maybe because I’m on a well with less consistent flow rate than city water? Sometimes at the end of its range it pulls back against me when I try to spray the plants that are 50’ from the spigot. Then when I’m not spraying but walking to a new location to water, it contracts a bit and moves in the grass. Looks an awful lot like a black rat snake at first glance and has startled me several times. While I prefer my hoses not to move on their own, I am happy with the light weight and will continue to try to get used to this new form of garden hose.

This hose is definitely different than most. It's very stretchy and expands length wise when water pressure is turned on. It's actually a bit too "rubber bandy" for my taste. But here's how I would break down the pros and cons.Pros:The fittings are very heavy duty. Way better than anything I've seen sold in stores. They send extra washers and pipe tape to prevent leaks too.It is very easy to roll or hang back up. It doesn't kink up and have to be constantly twisted and untwisted.For the length of hose, it is very lightweight.The nozzle is nice and doesn't feel cheap and lightweight.Cons:If used in a dirty area, it gets dirty and dusty very easily.Because it is so stretchy, it can be difficult to pull it around things. I have a hard time maneuvering it around my raised garden beds. It just wants to stretch instead of allowing more slack.It needs to be stored in a shady or covered area for the longest life.Overall, it can be a great hose for the right uses.

The 100-foot water hose was very useful for us to use everywhere in our garden. It was easy to pick up and store. If you need a garden water hose, this was a great choice-cheaper and useful.
