Great awning for the price...quality fabric, sturdy frame and easy to install....
This is a great awning for the price. Bought this to use on our Ford Transit van camper conversion. Needed a little DIY to install on the van (had to make some custom brackets) but installation was a breeze. Did require two people due to the height off the ground. The supplied hardware was adequate although I did need to buy some shorter bolts to mount the awning to the van brackets...the ones included were 3 inches long!!We tested it in the driveway...easy to open and close for two people. The awning was surprisingly sturdy...we live on the Oregon coast which means strong summer winds exceeding 20 mph most most days. The day we tested it we had 20+ mph winds and the awning didn't budge a bit. A little billowing but that's expected and OK.Was a bit concerned about how much the awning could droop front to back. Mounted to a car this would not be an issue but on the van it was concerning. The front legs extend to a maximum of 7 feet and the van side of the awning was 8 feet off the ground, so I needed about 12 inches of droop for it to work. The side poles swing out and have little to no vertical play. I asked Vevor (see below) but got nowhere. Good news is there is enough slop in the side arm hinges it worked out perfectly. Don't think you'd get more than 12-16 inches of back to front angle. The fabric seems durable. Sprayed a little water from a garden hose on it and definitely water resistant. Wish it was available in different colors...the brown/tan color doesn't quite fit the white and black theme of the van. Unless you roll up the awning tightly around the front support the zipper can be a bit of a challenge to get closed. I think a little practice opening and closing will resolve this.Did have to contact Vevor support ... which didn't go well. They didn't seem to understand my question and asked for pictures...which I couldn't send since that would require installing the awning and my question was install related. The bag has a weird orange Vevor logo on it...does not convey the quality that this product truly is. Might try and cover it up with some black tape but if you ever need tech support the contact info is right there. On the van it's up high enough you don't really notice it.This is a great product. Should last many years with reasonable care. Well worth the price in my humble opinion.

6x8 mounted on 5th gen 4Runner on Gobi rack 👍🏼👍🏼
Would definitely buy again. We had a similar sized ROAM that we left on a car we sold but just couldn’t justify buying another one. I am ecstatic about this deal. For about $130, and being on the lighter side at 19lb compared to similar awnings, this fit the bill. I like that it came with all the mounting hardware. Do note that other reviews were correct about the lateral outward poles not being able to angle/slope downward. I have it on my 5th gen 4runner on a Gobi rack. Super easy install with only 8 sets of nuts and bolts needed. I like that i can easily just remove the set of 4 from behind the awning to take it off for whatever reason. The logo is a little wild and kinda funny, but i have no shame in stretching out my dollar by not having the latest, greatest, best name brand products. Attached are photos of the manual and more.

Very impressed!
Pretty easy to install to roof rack. Deploying it was super easy! Very well thought out and has seriously upgraded my car camping game. Highly recommend

Great value, garish branding.
Great awning so far. Only giving 4 star for the following reasons.1. Giant neon orange Vevor branding on the side of the bag. Its tacky looking and I'll be covering that up with some duck tape.2. Tightening the poles was a bit unclear. You don't twist the black thing that looks like it would lock the pole, you twist the outermost section of pole itself.3. The pin that locks the horizontal pole into the vertical one does not slide all the way through all 3 holes because metal parts of the front horizontal structure blocks the pin even though they've included holes in the structure to imply that the pin should go all the way in. This is less stable than it could be.4. The extreme ends of the zipper are difficult to open and close because of the shape of the bag. I would prefer snaps instead.5. They included 4 holes in each mounting bracket but only included hardware (bolt/nut)for 2 holes in each bracket. I'll need to source 4 more bolts and nuts for my mounting application.6. Likewise, they only include 2, 2-hole backing plates for the mounting.Other than those small gripes it seems to be a good product and a great value for the money.

Love this awning
I used this awning this summer on a couple of camping trips and still looks fantastic and has held up well. Was the perfect size for my Renegade, and gave a decent amount of shade and even a spot to sit under during a light rain. Had room for a Coleman roll up camping table and 3 chairs underneath. I’m sure you could set it up by yourself but I tried and was really awkward and I ultimately gave up setting it up by myself and had my wife assist me with setting it up. Putting the awning away is much easier and all the poles fold into the end of the awning and into the storage bag. Then just roll up the fabric back into the storage back and Velcro it in tight then zip up the bag. Putting it away takes 5 minutes. The product came with all the parts and once staked and roped down the awning is pretty sturdy and stayed put during a storm one night. I could do without the big orange gawdy branding on the storage bag but, a smaller more subtle logo would be nice, but I can’t complain as the product works perfect and for hundreds less than name brand awnings is a great value.

Junk from the factory
I just got my first chance to use this and there's a hole in the fabric and the stitching on the velcro is ripping. I have enrolled it 1 time.

Easy to install
Installed on the original grille of my 4Runner; it looks like a good product so far—now I just need to use it to see if the quality holds up.

Works great
For me it worked out well. I have a frame over my truck and had to go to Home Depot to get some brackets that I could bend and drill out but it works great. I guess that depends on your set up.

Ottima fattura
molto ben fatto, non ancora testato con pioggia o vento ma come primo impatto direi molto valido.

Excellent build quality and works well in rain.
As a budget friendly awning I was pleasantly surprised at the great quality of the Vevor. The materials are excellent, build quality is also very good. The storage bag is well made (waterproof, strong zipper, not too big or too small). On my first weekend out with it, it rained heavily all night and it did not wet out and zero water came through it. It’s awkward to put up by yourself but doable. It could be improved by having feet on the down poles that you can peg to the ground, but if you ensure the guy lines are tight this isn’t an issue. I also purchased some matte black vinyl wrap to cover up the orange logo and it looks great. I have the 6 by 8 ft version and it works well on the side of a 4Runner covering from the back of the vehicle to 2/3rds of the front door. Mounts easily to an aftermarket roof rack with the existing hardware.Definitely worth the price, given what larger brands charge for awnings.

Great!!
6.6x8.2 version. The arm on the flat mounting L bracket easily slide on top of our Thule square bar and under our aftermarket roof rack. We clamped it all back down with the existing clamp and it was installed. Super easy. Goes from the back of our 4Runner (and over the tire table where the propane stove goes that connects to the tank on the side of our extra spare on the mount on the trailer hitch!) to about 1/2 way along the drivers front door. It’s excellent. We ‘think’ we might be able to get different ground poles and go pack to pockets we could install on the running boards (tying back to the truck itself) but aren’t sure yet. Quality build, glad we bought it.
