It smooths the surface of my nails and makes nail polish look even better, but honestly, you don’t even need polish because it leaves such a beautiful natural shine like you’re already wearing clear nail polish. This nail buffer/shiner is downright amazing! I've had a couple of these buffer blocks before (different brands) and they were okay, but I had no idea my nails could shine this much! Definitely worth a few more bucks than others you may see on Amazon. My nails look like they have clear polish on them! They have stayed shiny through many hand washings whereas the buffers I had before lasted less than a day. The photo I'm sharing doesn't even do justice to the shine. The only negative about this buffer block is that it's slowing down attention to my work since I keep stopping to admire my fingernails! :-D This is the one to get! 5 stars is not even enough. Oh yeah, and I have shiny toenails now, too!

I can absolutely recommend this nail buffing block. I had been familiar with this product for quite some years and it was in my bedside table drawer until, at my last nail appointment, the technician suggested a buff and shine for $8.00. I really liked how my nails looked and remembered this 3 way buffer and was delighted to order a new one from Amazon. It works so easy to make my nails shine and it is brilliant that the buffing instructions are listed on the grey part of this buffer. It really takes only a few minutes going from the blue side to the grey one and then polish the nails with the white side. And the end result is pretty, shining nails!

The quality is excellent, and it works much better than less expensive buffers I've tried in the past. I would definitely purchase this again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional, long-lasting shine on their nails. A great product that delivers outstanding results!

I love this nail buffer. I have natural nails that I keep short, but I like them to look nice and I don't like to wear nail polish. Buffing them makes them shine and it lasts a week to 10 days. Highly recommend.

I've been using this brand for a few months now and its still like brand new and has helped smooth out grooves and dips on my nails. So much so that my nails are starting to grow without them. So I highly recommend this! In general it helps smooth out damage from trauma to the nail bed like door slams, etc.
