These were great gifts for a recent Cinco de mayo themed party. They came in time and were just what U thought I was ordering.

I got these because we live in southern Arizona and we like to host a lot. These spoons have been perfect for serving our salsas and guacamole! Because they are wood, I tend to handwash them as I don't want them to chip or splinter. I wish they were a little bigger as they are more the size of soup spoons rather than serving spoons, but they are still great.

These have to be the weirdest and coolest spoons, all at the same time, that I have ever seen! Because they are so awesome, I think I would Still risk using them, even if they really Were prickly! Of course they are Not prickly. These spoons feel great in my hand. Definitely easy to hold.We Adore Mexican Cuisine at our house, because it's all just so tasty. So of course, I had to order these positively unique serving spoons. I love how they are BPA Free, and even safe to wash in the dishwasher. The spoon set is durably constructed. I can tell it's made to last, for years to come.There are so many foods that these serving spoons would be ideal for: refried beans, queso dip, and even serving taco fixins like tomatoes, onions, and sour cream, just to name a few. I also can't help but think, that kids would probably enjoy using these cacti spoons as cereal spoons. It's a good thing that they come in a set of 2, so there won't be any fights over them! These spoons are super cute and perfect for serving salsa and dips. They are made out of wood, so I would not put these in the dishwasher, but they are very easy to clean. We've gotten lots of comments and compliments on the spoons whenever we put them out for company to use. Perfect for anyone who loves cacti or lives in the southwest!

This is a pretty straightforward novelty spoon for parties or themed dinner nights or what have you. It is a wooden spoon in the shape of a cactus. The size listed in the immediate product description would seem to be for the cup of the spoon, while the measurement in the product photo is also accurate. It is about the size of your normal soup spoon, not a giant serving spoon or anything. That said, the wood is sanded dead smooth, no worries about splinter. The green is a silicon covering, with the arms of the cactus then purely silicon so you can squeeze them or bend them out of the way as needed. It's very cute and seems quite well made.
