took awhile to install connectors, but did the job well. I would recommend for wiring Arduino Mega projects that need to connect to Solid State relays with screw terminals. Makes for a neat and professional install.

This is actually the only screw shield I could find for the Arduino Mega that was even a little bit affordable. I ordered two of these.It was easy to put together and it works great! I messed up the first one, but that was completely my fault. I did something stupid and damaged the board. Anyone with basic soldering skills should be fine. Just pay attention to what you are doing!I am using it for a Robot I am designing to prototype other robots. I am using a Mega because it has so many extra pins. It makes testing things easier. The screw shield makes it even better. The wires definitely stay in more than they do using ordinary jumper wires.The particular screw terminals in this product work very well. The screw terminals on my Motor Shield are very bad. They frequently do not hold the wires and I am close to stripping the screws from tightening too many times. This shield does not have that problem. The wires stay in without excessive tightening or arranging.I also love that it comes with long header pins. I was concerned that I might need to access the ICSB pins. They are not on the shield. However, the long pins made it very easy to stick a connector onto the ICSB and arrange the wires so that I can access it as needed.If I had a wish list...., I would wish for this set-up with Spring terminals. That would be much better for my project.Also.... pretty colors. Why can't electronics come in more colors? My robot is clear acrylic because I want to be able to see all his insides, but some of the components are not great colors.I love the long header pins

When using the Arduino Mega you can get a LOT of wire running to the Arduino. Using the shield allows you to make secure connections for all the wires and allows lots of space to plug in an addition shield on top, like a LCD touchscreen. Very easy to use and you do not need to worry about loose connections.

One of the pin screws was messed up.

This pin breakout shield really make accessing and using the pins on the Mega 2560 very simple. It seems to be well built. Unlike one reviewer who showed a photo of un-soldered pins, my board was perfectly ok. Worked for what I needed it for. Would by it again.

so far works great. no faulty wiring. the screw on terminals are easy to read. but the black inner terminals are not. but whatever its still awesome.

At first I was put off by the price, but after wiring and re-wiring this thing for the past few weeks I'm really glad I invested. The screw terminals do their job absolutely fine, and the labelling is all perfect unlike on the Arduino itself. The board feels very solid and the pins fit perfectly, I'm very glad I bought a full size board rather than the ones that come in two halves, the result is that this board is very robust.
