FLASHFORGE Adventurer 5M 3D Printer, 220x220x220mm

I bought this despite not knowing a lot about 3D printers as a birthday present for my Fiance. He absolutely loves it and has been printing stuff non stop. He says its very intuitive and user friendly. He made a 'Benchy' which is a test file stored on the device and it works very well. I have since discovered from other people in the 3D printer groups that this is considered to be amazing for the price point. Brownie points for me then! The quality of the print is excellent and its not overly noisy and not too big but does need space behind it for ventilation

Having continuous issues with my Ender 3 Clones, I decided to take the plunge on a much more hassle-free printer, This Flashforge M5 seemed to tick all of the boxes for an Upgrade, Faster speeds, Automatic calibration, and expandability support if I wanted to print ABS For example. there is a kit available to build the enclosure, Yes the Pro version has the camera and enclosure built in, But I like to tinker, and the price difference for practically the same machine, so I opted for the cheaper alternative. So far the experience has been positive, Indeed is hassle-free, and was up and printing the test models in less than 15 minutes of unpacking the Unit. It printed the test benchy in less than 14 minutes and was immediately stunned by the sheer speed of this machine, The manufacturer slicer software is quite intuitive and will be the best to use for beginners, I was happy to learn that the Update which installed over Wifi now allows support for remote printing on Orca and various other slicers, My only issue at the moment is when I turn off the power in the studio, on reboot next day it has a New IP Address, The slicers don't find the printer automatically so have to jot down the IP And manually enter it into the slicer to connect remotely, Not a big deal as I can set it up with a Static IP Once I get the hang of things. Just a minor inconvenience really, The bed calibration does kind of need redoing every other print otherwise there will be small imperfections on the first layer, It is no issue, as with coming from a manual printer this process is so much easier on the M5, But sofar its a really fast printer, Prints are good, Ive ordered the camera kit and enclosure kit so I'm keen to get started with the potential this printer has to offer.

After reading a lot of reviews on these I thought it would be a great starting point, especially as I don't want to print overnight. Packing was great, step by step instructions with installed test prints. First set up and printing. Amazed! Good quality prints very fast. I used orca, correct profile and default settings. Can't access Flashforge version as Web page returns 404 error. Couple days later, no alterations to printer or slicer and I get a heating warning. On inspection the nozzle was resting on the plate at a 45 degree angle. This also left deep gouges in the build plate. Amazon were fantastic and I purchased a new nozzle.... Fitted the nozzle as per instructions, switched on and factory reset printer. Ran calibration after reset and started a benchy, 3rd layer in and the machine beeps and I literally watch the extruder plunge into the bed again bending the nozzle. I don't know if this was a one off untill I searched nozzle snapping on adventurer 5m and it seem pretty common among reddit users. Opting for this instead of the Bambu lambs was in my case a bad idea. Has definately put me off Flashforge if purchasing further printers. Guess I'll wait to see how the bambu labs does. Not reccomended in my opinion. UPDATE Amazon and Flasjforge have been great, unfortunately still trying to pinpoint the issue , but CS from Flashforge is great, very responsive and helpfull.

I bought one of these as I really wanted an enclosed model that was capable of ABS and ASA as well as the usual suspects for prototyping work. Two months later... I ordered another one as I was so pleased with the reliability, finish and general usefulness. The only real modifications I've felt the need to make (other than somewhere to keep the essentials at hand) are some flexible PLA feet to absorb some of the vibrations, and replacing the feed PTFE tube on both printers so that they can easily reach the heated dry box. They've both been proper little workhorses and have been used to create things from the very small to completely filling the 220x220 bed. I also like the ease with which I can swap the nozzles, especially as I now have the full range from 0.25 to 0.8mm. Issues? Few, I've had one filament clog and rarely have poor bed adhesion, warping or any of the other gotchas.

This is a nice 3d printer, might not be the fastest or have a very large build plate, but ive built so many things, 220x220x220 will be more than enough for me. Now when it comes to the software, its very basic, also you need to be on the same network both laptop and printer, also you cant hide the WiFi sid, else it wont work. My router is an Asus, working on 7g, so the 2.4g is normal, also laptop has a lan lead, no wifi switched on. So i had to make a few changes to get it all to work Its a nice 3d printer, used High speed pla for a test, works great. Update Camera keeps switching off, ive read it gets hot and shuts down. So ive sent an email to the manufacturer to see if they will help. Other than that ive been happy printing without other problems. Ive iven made a roof riser with leds in it, see photo Update Again, returned first, now the second is doing same, Camera cuts out after few minutes, need to view it via browser, started other filements, silk wont work without a mess everywhere. Not recommended Update again Fiund out there is a 4 minute time to view the camera, then its switched off, i guess in case you go out and print a model 5 hours, so company dont have much bandwidth, but browser works fine. Tried a 0.6 nozzle, at first it was a nightmare to change it, but kack of experience was the cause of that. Last update, dont know if this printer will last, but right now i can say its working good, and im learning more each day. Not as good as some, better than others

Perfect! I love it and I'm a young age, when setting it up it allowed to do a little test and print a cube and it's so cute! It is a little difficult to operate sometimes but apart from that it's fine! I immediately learnt how to operate it's website thing where you can import your own model and print it, it's great all around and I am so exited to get more filament to print stuff. I also turned it on this morning and it took a couple of minutes to turn on, it even finished the print I did before I had to go. It comes with lots of already ready to print models and I chose the boat because I wanted it and it was so cute. Definitely would buy it again, theres no features it's missing which makes it even better!

As per the title, I am very pleased so far. It's too early to be able to give a full and true review of the machine and the after sales service but I will give my honest opinion so far. The machine arrived exactly when quoted which was 2 days after purchase. If arrived in perfect condition and no damage whatsoever to the packaging. Everything that was supposed to be in the package was present and correct and in brand new condition. I set the machine up quite quickly and had it running in about an hour without any problems whatsoever. This printer is an amazing piece of equipment, the speed and quality of print is astonishing. This printer just works, I haven't had to mess around with anything at all, which is a refreshing change from all the grief usually associated with 3d printing on the older type open source machines that I am used to. At the time of purchase, it was £399 with the standard 5M model being available for £269, at that price, it wasn't worth trying to save £130 on the cheaper option when I would have ended up spending nearly that much converting it to something that would resemble the Pro model without having all of the features. To be honest, at this price, I would highly recommend just getting the Pro model for the fact that it will print a wider range of materials and is a really nice piece of kit straight out of the box. I will update this review if and when anything worth saying needs to said.

Je rêvais de me lancer dans l'impression 3D depuis des années, et j'ai fini par craquer... et je ne regrette absolument pas ! Cette imprimante est parfaite pour débuter. À mon sens, le plus compliqué n'est pas la machine, mais les logiciels de préparation des modèles. Heureusement, avec l'aide de l'IA, j'ai pu être guidée pas à pas pour comprendre les différents paramètres, leur utilité et leur impact sur les impressions. L'imprimante arrive dans un emballage très solide. Il y a peu de risques qu'elle soit endommagée pendant le transport. Le montage est rapide et les explications du manuel sont claires. En quelques minutes, tout est prêt pour lancer la première impression de test, qui est fournie directement dans la machine. Côté utilisation, c'est un vrai plaisir. Le nivellement automatique fonctionne parfaitement et les différents réglages sont finalement assez simples une fois que l'on a compris leur fonctionnement. Le chargement du filament PLA est intuitif et rapide. Le changement de buse l'est tout autant. J'ai d'ailleurs réussi à boucher complètement la buse lors d'une mauvaise manipulation. En quelques minutes, elle était démontée, débouchée et l'imprimante repartait comme si de rien n'était. Petit message pour les débutants : ne vous découragez pas si vos premières impressions ne sont pas parfaites. C'est parfois frustrant, mais dans la grande majorité des cas, le problème vient simplement d'un réglage à affiner ou d'un paramètre à mieux comprendre. J'apprécie également le fait que cette imprimante soit évolutive. Il est possible d'ajouter une caméra, des parois de protection et de nombreuses pièces imprimables pour la personnaliser selon ses envies. J'ai longtemps hésité avec un modèle multicolore, mais au final je suis ravie d'avoir choisi la version monochrome. Elle correspond parfaitement à mes besoins. En résumé, je suis vraiment très satisfaite de cet achat. Je recommande cette imprimante les yeux fermés, y compris aux personnes qui n'ont jamais touché à une imprimante 3D.

eccellente finalmente le istruzioni in Italiano bene imballata inserimento e cambio filamento perfetto con tanti tipi di filo non riescono a un Kg ma e meno istallazione semplice il piano atacca sdubito ; sperando per il seguito calibratura perfetta con il piano velocita di stampa strepitosa il prezzo per la struttura lo merita dovrebbe stampare in qualsiasi temperatura ambiente con la doppia ventilazione anche non consigliata rumore per il sonno si un pochino si sente che e viva riconnoscimeto filo e spegnimento ottimo per lo spegnimento rimane accesa piu di cosi

Rapport qualité/prix en multicouleur imbattable. Superbe impression en PLA, PETG, TPU sans aucun défaut. Aprés plus de 100h d'impression le seul "inconvénient" c'est le bruit du mécanisme d'éjection des déchets lors d'impression avec beaucoup de changement de couleur par couche.

Awesome printer super easy to set up and maintain. I bought the enclosure kits to print all the parts to enclose it i spent maybe 35 dollars printed in petg and took close to 3 days of non stop printing. I changed the order and plate arrangements and got the parts to print slightly faster than the stock configuration. Everything bolted together fine using the hardware that was included in the enclosure kit I purchased. So far have not had any issues and would say if you're looking to get your first 3d printer id say get this one its easy to print just about anything.
