This was ok but it cracked within 2 days of using it

Not fit for purpose
Item looks good however cracked when hot liquid put in to strain. Although they state it takes boiling fluid. This could of caused serious burns to the user.

The base cracked after about 4 uses, could have been very dangerous as supposed to be heat resistant. Would NOT recommend

Careful when washing
separated fat well, but was cracked after washing in the dishwasher. I had to throw it away.

This developed a crack when put into hand hot water
This is rubbish. Seemingly quite sturdy. When I washed it by hand before its first use it developed a crack and now leaks.

Separates fat effectively. I separated roast fat from from stock.

Works as advertised
Bought this so I could get to separate the broth and the fat. Squeeze the handle and the broth comes out and the fat stays on top.

Great gadget!
It makes straining stock for soup a breeze. Only thing is, don’t pour super hot liquid into it as it will crack. :o(
