Colmans season & shake
Thanks #BzzAgent, got my #freesamples of colmans season & shake yesterday through the door and tried the sausage & herb casserole for tea tonight, It was so easy to make, sausages,onion, tatties and vegies all in the bag, put in the seasoning and water, sealed the bag, gave it a shake and popped it in the oven for 45 mins, gotta say it was gorgeous, i really enjoyed my tea tonight thanks to #colmans canny wait to try the chicken ones now #gotitfree :o))

Horrendous!!!
Followed instructions and it came out floating in sausage fat. I use premium frozen sausages which were defrosted before preparing this. Also the cooking time states 45min, however potato slicessation were still raw. Took an hour to cook and upon tipping the contents the oil came flowing out. Went straight to the bin. As for the taste, it wasn't that great and certainly NEEDED a salt to try and enhance the flavour. I would waste expensive butchers sausages on this. We normally make our own sausage casserole anyway and was just trying as an experiment. never again!!

This dual pack includes a special baking bag and a seasoning mix which blends tomatoes, onions and herbs, quickly transforming simple ingredients into a hearty dish, that's so easy to make. Simply add the fresh ingredients and seasoning to the bag, bake and enjoy. Shopping List (serves 4) 340g sausages 1 onion 500g potatoes 100g mushrooms 1 red pepper 1. Make It Preheat oven to 190° C (fan assisted 170° C), Gas mark 5. Tear open top of pack and remove folded bag. Peel off sticker and unwrap, keeping hold of blue tie to use later. Resting the bag on a work surface, gently place all ingredients in the bag, pour in the water and add seasoning from bottom sachet. 2. Season It Close and tie bag with blue tie, approx 2cm from the opening. Supporting the weight of the bag with one hand shake very gently, until the ingredients are evenly coated in seasoning. Place in an oven proof dish so that bag is sideways. 3. Bake It Place dish on middle shelf for 45 minutes. Allow room for bag to expand when cooking (bag must not touch side or top of oven). When cooked cut open the bag (attention: hot steam), check sausages are fully cooked and place in a serving dish. About the bag: Do not increase the amount of fresh ingredients above the recipe recommendation. Rest the bag on a work surface when adding ingredients, only shake contents very gently, and hold the bag firmly at the base at all times. Take care when opening the contents as steam will be hot. The bag is made of a special material which is safe to use for oven cooking and is recyclable when rinsed where local facilities exist. Do not use with switched on grill function.
