My dad has ALS that affects his speech but not his hands yet. We ordered the Boogie Board Doodle Board so that he can continue to communicate. It works perfectly for his needs. He has been able to order his own food and function in public with this board. People are very patient when they learn that this is the only way he can communicate. I recommend this as a tool for anyone who has trouble talking.

This is light weight, super easy to use, and a good price. I am a registered nurse and use it as my jot pad while I'm on shift where I can easily delete the message when I'm done with what I need to note. I also love to randomly doodle while in meetings so this allows me to doodle without wasting paper. I also saw they have a glow in the dark version and I think I'm gonna have to somehow justify the need to purchase that....

We have a few writing tablets, and this is our favorite! It's easy to travel with and has so many uses. You can use it to write quick notes down, or hand it to the kids to play with when out and about. Right now, my daughter carries this around with her to help her learn her spelling words. When we practice them, she writes them first before spelling out loud. My only issue is the pen broke within about a month of using it, so it no longer snaps onto the board. Otherwise, it's been great for us!

We have had a few of these in the past from different brands where they seemed to have ghosting issues, or the kids would either have a hard time pressing the reset button, or would need to press it multiple times. None of those issues with this. This also has a unique design for holding the stylist that i like more then the ones the press into the body of the frame and have a area you can poke it out. i hope this setup leads to less times where it gets lost but the hole in it and the spot it goes back to could allow for attaching a small string or something.

The media could not be loaded.  I like this cute doodle board. It's very lightweight , feels good in the hands when using, and "erases" easily. I also like how the "pen" attaches to the board itself, less chance of me losing it. I use it with the erase button at the bottom - I know it's supposed to be at the top, but almost every electronic device I have has the power button in the middle of the bottom of the screen, so that's what feels most comfortable for me!I use this for quick doodling or when i'm trying to sketch something (like one of the numerous turkeys I see around here which I still cannot sketch), I try it out on here first before going in my sketchbook. I don't know how long the battery lasts, but it is not replaceable - so this will be another electronic device that cannot be recycled or repurposed once the battery dies.I think the price is a tad high for something disposable, but it works well. Recommended.
