If you have never used an airless sprayer, these are a dream for painting a house. I used a brush on some areas of rough stucco walls and it appeared to completely cover. In a few minutes, the paint looked like it had measles with multiple spot of the old paint showing through. With the airless sprayer, the coverage was measurably faster and total once-over coverage. The paint gets forced onto the stucco.The original spray tip #221615 that came with the Graco airless sprayer was listed for thin to medium consistency paints. The Behr house paint for stucco appeared to be thicker than medium, so I purchased the 221619 tip to paint the house. Using uncut paint, this tip put out a lot of paint in a wide pattern. The job went well and the coverage was excellent. However, if you are new to airless spraying, the 221615 would give you a smaller, more manageable pattern with less paint even though the paint is rather thick. Not including prep time, the one story 1500 sq ft house with 2-car attached garage took about 9 gallons of paint and about 3 hours to spray.

Normally I like 517 tips, but the interior walls and ceilings of the new commercial building I painted were quite large areas, and this helped make the job go faster. Finish turned out great, but I expect nothing less from Graco products.

I used the Graco 411 on the advise of another Amazon customer. It was definitely the one to do a perfect job with staining my cedar fence. No waste of stain, very little overspray. I'll be buying another 411 when I wear this one out!
