This is a small, intro kit that makes a few sheets of marbled paper. Great for introducing the concept and technique. But it isn't enough materials to really make a large quantity of paper for crafting. Still a fun set though! It did have all the necessary pieces and was a nice 30 min activity start to finish, including reading the instructions.

My granddaughters and I had a fun crafting day where we played with this marbling kit. It was so much fun. We used it to make all kinds of fun designs on paper, but we also did a few on shrink plastic and made keychains. It was great fun and I highly recommend this as a gift for your next birthday party.

This is an awesome starter set to learn how to marble paper! It's so much fun and very easy to learn with this kit! I've always wondered if I'd like paper marbling, as it looked like so much fun! So I got this little kit and after my personal 30 minute intro class, I've used all the included papers, created some beautiful patterns and have totally fallen in love with the marbling process! Get this kit if you or someone you know would like to try paper marbling!

Tried to do with a toddler and don’t recommend. Fun craft but you do have to mix a solution that they advise you let sit for like 8 hours or something like that and if a kid is excited about a craft, that wait time is not going to go over well.

I was excited to use this with my art camp kids and our Asian art theme (Suminigashi), but it is not naturally floating suminigashi ink and the powder has to be mixed for several hours before use. I shared my classroom, so that was not an option.

Fun little paint kit for kids. Will buy again!

We have a 9 year old granddaughter who loves crafts and painting. So, it was an easy decision to try this one out. She had never tried water marbling (and we had zero experience) so this proved a bit of a challenge.The kit itself seems pretty basic. It contains six paints, paper, a pipette to spread the paint, and a few other items. Once she got the hang of it, she was able to transfer her “creation” onto paper. I don’t think she had the patience to attempt transfers onto other surfaces. Perhaps an older or more patient kid might be able to do it.All in all, this was a good experience for her and worth trying out. I doubt that we would repeat the experience, though.
