Great help for my daughters reading project

I bought this for my college daughter who had to read the book for class. Many of her classmates struggled with the book and were doing poorly on the tests. Since my daughter had the SparkNotes, she would read the book then review the SparkNotes and did very well on the tests. I give SparkNotes an A+ and so does my daughter. We only wish there were SparkNotes for The Yellow Birds.....

I wanted to understand the novel in depth and this study guide helped me get deeper into the book. It helped affirm some of my thoughts about how Remarque shows how man reverts to his natural animalistic instinct under fire. I would recommend this book not only to students but also to general readers who want to get a greater understanding of the novel.

Bit basic in my opinion but does contain useful information that helped with a presentation.
