Amazing quality for the price
I’m extremely happy with these earbuds. The sound quality is outstanding. They look and feel very premium. The settings app is very simple to use. Some may not like that the EQ is quite limited (it’s parametric) but I’ve barely needed to adjust it anyway because the base sound is so good. In-ear detection is a really nice to have feature that you don’t see often at this price range. The buds pause music automatically if you take one out to listen to something. The case is very light. It’s much easier to pull the buds out than many similar types where the stalk goes inside the case. I’d prefer if it was metal but the plastic feels reasonably sturdy. The only issue for me is there are no touch controls. You can use pinch controls if you set them in the app but I find that less convenient.

A Solid AirPods Alternative at a Fraction of the Cost
After my first-generation AirPods Pro gave up the ghost, I was torn between something more budget or sticking with the newest AirPods Pro. After some research these Nothing Ear (a) buds arrived as a welcome surprise. The standout is value for money. You're getting flagship features, excellent noise cancelling, outstanding sound quality, and great battery life at a very reasonable price. I've owned them for months and charged the case maybe five times. My only gripe is the lack of wireless charging on the case. It's a minor inconvenience, but not a dealbreaker. If you're locked into the Apple ecosystem but hesitant about abandoning AirPods, don't be. The Nothing Ear (a) is a great alternative and i'm glad I made the switch.

Mostly happy with these, just a couple of minor things (your mileage may vary on them)
I am a fan of Nothing/CMF by Nothing - I'm still rocking the Nothing Phone 1 and recently bought a CMF Watch too. Very happy with both. I did get a set of CMF Buds but they developed a fault after a few months so I got a refund. Decided to opt for the more expensive Ear (a) as they were a good price. Had them for a couple of weeks - earbud controls are much better than on the CMF Buds, less chance of accidentally activating a function I don't want. Sound quality is good, no complaints though at times not quite loud enough for me when listening to podcasts. Noise cancelling is better than on the CMF Buds, as I suppose it should be, though not close to over-the-ear headphones. Fine for my needs though. Pass-through audio works well enough too. Battery life seems to be excellent, both for the buds and the case - lasts a week or more with about 3 hours a day in use. We'll see how they're holding up in a few months, but for the money they are great.

Great sound, great quality, excellent value for money.
The earbuds have a great sound - clear, crisp, and provides deep bass when needed. They feel well made as does the charging case. The app provides lots of features that let you fine tune the earbuds to your preferences. Connecting to the app and phone was effortless, and connection quality is very strong. I left my phone in the lounge and went into the garden and connection was still excellent. These earbuds are lightweight and very comfortable to wear. The charging case provides plenty of capacity to make sure that you don’t inconveniently run out. Personally think that the quality you get for the price is excellent and they are great value for money compared to some ‘leading’ brands. I got these when they went on offer so that’s even better..!! Wish I had bought them sooner.

Almost worth the money.
Nice sound quality, but inadequate customisation through the app. Buds fit well for me straight away. Noise cancelling is OK, my old pair of cheap EarFuns was better. Carry case holds enough charge and battery life is good enough. Expensive in comparison with similar quality buds. Nice to try out, but I won't buy again.

Great ear buds for the money
I’ve been using the Nothing Ear (a) wireless ear buds for just over a month and tried them for all my regular activities - listening to music, audio books and live radio in different locations - public transport, busy city streets, and chilling at home. My review is based comparing them to my previous buds, apple AirPod pros (but bear in mind, they are much more expensive). I list the main factors in order of what is important to me. Sound Quality - really impressive in all applications. Nice level of bass in music, crisp and clear speech in audio books and radio. Overall I would say easily as good as AirPod pros, possibly even better for music. Noise cancellation - quite capable with constant background noises. Struggled a little bit with more random noises, such as on busy streets, but still better than no noise cancellation at all. Overall, not as good as AirPod pros, but good enough, especially for the price. Controls - touch controls are not as responsive as AirPod pros, particularly when performing double or triple clicks, but good enough - and I can do more than I could on (1st gen) AirPod pros. Setup/App - very easy, good app. Slight inconvenience to go to separate app compared with the integrated AirPod controls on iOS, but that is to be expected. Looks/feel/quality - all seem perfectly fine - quite a subtle look, nice feel without a super-premium feel, quality good so far.

Great earbuds until they failed. Rubbish service.
I loved these earbuds while they worked. Great noise cancellation and excellent sound. Good on phone calls. After about 6 months the left one developed a crackle that I couldn’t resolve so back they go. It’s 1 star because the return process is a real pain. It’s a third party over Amazon back to the supplier. £6 to return them as I wanted the return insured and had to sort this myself and now 6-8 weeks waiting for a fix or refund. I’d even bought the extra insurance via amazon but useless if had them under a year.

Love them!
Excellent quality and performance. Well made. Cool design. They are light weight, but no so much that you forget about them. They are easy to fit my ears using the different size buds provided. The charge is good in the buds and the case. Great that they connect to two Bluetooth devices at once. I can have them on my laptop and my phone. Calls on either device.take priority and music on the other is paused. The app is great to customise the controls. They block out other noise well. I've noticed when my phone is in my pocket, sound can be a bit choppy sometimes. I think it's due to thr BT connection getting interference from me. I didn't expect that at this price point and a short range. When the happens so infrequently they are still great value for money. Other than that they have decent range when out of my pocket and get a good 10-15m without obstructions. Not many external case options at the moment. Hopefully more will come to the market soon. I found a hard silicone clear case, but it was really hars to find.

Good quality for the price
Love the sound. I lost my Nothing earpiece and got this as a replacement. Will definitely recommend.

Great buy
Update: Unfortunately, after a year of daily usage, they no longer hold a charge. If I can get 30 minutes of use out of them, I am lucky. I can no longer recommend them. Even if the price was affordable, having to buy a new pair every year makes them more expensive. I will invest on a more expensive pair that will last longer for my next pair of earbuds. Easy to pair. Works on dual devices. Last roughly 5 to 6 hours with anc on and extra bass going. Charges pretty guickly. 15 minutes will get you 2 hours. 30 to 40 for a full charge. Very comfortable in the ear when working or walking, but not while doing any sports. They fall off. Mic and sound are great. Loudish bass if you like this sort of thing. Anc is great. Manages to shut the guy up next desk over while doing teams call.

Bra bas
Bättre bas och batteritid än mina AirPods Pro gen 1. Ungefär samma nivå på noise cancelling, fortfarande betydligt sämre än over-ear hörlurar.
