So far....
I love this light! It was all I hoped it would be. I kind of expected to be disappointed because of the price, but have found that this is worth more than I paid. I paid $20 and it included a fulley charged (rechargeable) battery, a charger, a strap (I don't use the strap) and a nice, padded, waterproof carry case. I put this in my police utility belt (flashlight holder) and it fits perfect. It has 3 settings, S.O.S., steady on and strobe. That's all I needed. The head moves in and out to intensify the beam or spread it out. I am very impressed with the brightness of this light. It out shines all of the other officers lights.I only hope that it doesn't break down, burn up or in some other way disappoint me.Cons: It has a silver ring that serves to hold the lens in and dual purpose of being a tactical devise. I would have liked it to be black all over as the silver ring attracts attention to it.

BEST ONE EVER!
Almost didn't buy it. Thought it was too expensive for a little flashlight, but since it was rechargeable I gave it a shot. Glad I did! It charges pretty fast, is just the right size to be really handy, but has the power of a much larger light! One reviewer said it was a bright as a car's headlight. I didn't believe it, but it really is! I use it like a floodlite from my back porch. I can shine it all the way to the back fence thru all the evergreen trees without going out there to find my dog. Only a floodlite would do that before I got this. Hard to believe a small little flashlite can do what this one can. And it has three modes you can access w/ just a couple of clicks. One is a flasher mode. I love that it can use batteries as a backup in case of electical outages & I use all the charge up & am unable to plug it in for awhile. The charge lasts a long time too. I used it off & on for several weeks to signal for the dog to come in with only one charge. I love this one!

Very bright, gets hot with longer use
I bought 2 of these because I was tired of reaching for a conventional flashlight only to find the batteries died. This is BRIGHT, much brighter than I expected for an LED and seems to be very well made. Two things made me give it less than 5 stars- the battery must be taken out and placed in a (included) charger and also, when I used it for 15 minutes or so it got hot enough to the touch at the upper end by the lens to be uncomfortable. I think this might be because of the high output from the lithium-ion battery needed to produce such a bright light. The lower part stayed relatively cool and so it could still be held but I was surprised with the heat produced.

Very bright
These compact flashlights are extremely bright and shine for a good distance. They have a zoom feature that allows for a wide or narrow focus which is very handy. They have a flashing mode that could be good in an emergency outdoors to call for attention. The button on the back is under a heavy rubber membrane which seems to be waterproof, though I'm not sure of this. This particular seller seems not to stock these now, but I've bought the same flashlight from another vendor and they are the same. They come directly from China and there seems to be different vendors selling almost identical units. Look for the CREE XM-L T6 spec and you'll be ok with another brand.

Battery ruptured & caused gunk to be all over the light. Buyer Beware!!!!!!
The flashlight was non-working the bezel lens was clouded and had corrosive gunk on it and all over the light from the rechargeable battery that had ruptured. I went on Amazon to attempt to return my item and was shown I would get a refund after I paid to have it returned. I have pictures & video of how it was and it was dangerous to have shipped an item like this and I doubt it would be legal for me to return an item with corrosive gunk coming out of the package. On you tube I have a review of this item. Here is a link:[...]

Great and Bright Light!
The media could not be loaded. Cvlife 1800 Lumens CREE XM-L LED Rechargeable Flashlight Torch Zoomable Zoom IN/OUT Cvlife 1800 Lumens CREE XM-L LED Rechargeable Flashlight vs CREE XML XM-L T6 LED Bike Bicycle Light HeadLight HeadLamp 1200LM Red CREE XML XM-L T6 LED Bike Bicycle Light HeadLight HeadLamp CREE XML XM-L T6 LED Bike Bicycle Light HeadLight HeadLamp 1200LM Red. The first light that I turn on is the Cree bicycle headlight with the green lighted button and the next light I turn on is the Cree flashlight. Then I turn them both on to test brightness. They are very bright! Perhaps eve n brighter than a car light! In terms of brightness the flashlight is rated at 1800 lumens and the bike light is rated at 1200 lumens. I think the flashlight is equal to the brightness of the bike light or slightly brighter at 1400 - 1600 lumens. The zoom is about 1800 - 2000 lumens. I get both these lights off of Amazon and would recommend them! The bike light is great for night riding and the flashlight is great for your household or weather and storm emergencies. They both use rechargeable batteries. The bike light is a lithium ion battery pack and the flashlight uses an 18650 rechargeable battery. The battery of the flashlight takes about 2-3 hours to fully recharge and lasts about 8 hours on high! The bike light takes about 2-4 hours to recharge and lasts about 4-6 hours on high! Out of ten stars I give them a 10! I would highly recommend the flashlight plus the bike light if you own a bike or just to use as a headlamp!

Would've been the best light on the market if it lasted more than few months
It only lasted for few months with normal use. It was my favorite flash light and I almost bought 3 more, but thank god I didn't. Now I'm stuck with extra batteries for it + charger. The LED itself is the problem. It would come on but it's very dim. That's why I ended up with extra batteries. I thought it might be the batteries. By the way, it does the same with the A's battery as well.

NOT 1800 lumens
OK, this flashlight appears to be of good quality and arrived in a plastic case that was pretty nice. The package I got contained the flashlight, case, single Lithium ion battery, charger and AAA holder for using Alkaline batteries. It does work and has 5 modes of operation. It is decently bright but there is no way this thing is 1800 lumens. It's more like 200 - 300.
