Feels very lightweight, but speed is good
I bought this to use as a more convenient spot on my desk to attach USB devices, rather than having to plug them into the computer, and it's attached in place with double-stick foam tape. The cable was a good length... I understand why many manufacturers of these kinds of small hubs usually opt for a very short cable (since the assumption is that it will be used right next to a laptop computer in a travel situation), but I'm glad that there are at least a few available that have a longer cable. I chose this hub because it had both USB-C and USB-A ports, was 10gbps, met the physical requirements of what I was looking for, and had a port for supplying power to the hub. The hub is very lightweight, I'd even go so far to say that it feels a bit on the fragile side. But hopefully durability will be ok. Speed on all four ports was good (see attached screen shots... this was a Samsung T7 Shield 2TB, with an M1Max MacBook Pro). Directly connected to the computer was, naturally, a bit faster, but through the hub is fast enough. In other words, it is indeed a 10gbps connection, even if it's slightly slower. Though my typical usage won't require it, I went ahead and supplied power to it via a USB-C cable and charger... without this, two SSDs and a flash drive mount fine, but trying to add a portable hard drive, the hard drive would not spin up (which is not the fault of the hub... that's just too much power being drawn from the host port). With the power cable attached, that hard drive (in addition to the other devices) worked fine. I'm glad the manufacturer included this capability.

Great USB-C hub
This is a very solid USB 3.2 hub. Transfer speeds are excellent and connections are solid, no disconnections so far. SSD and other low power devices will work as is, but if you plan on adding anything like a external HDD you will need to add external power to keep it stable. It will appear ok, but have random issues until you add power using the 5v input.

All USB C hub was a dud. Mixed ports worked fine.
2025 REVIEW FOR ALL USB C HUB: Review for all USB C port hub since I don't seem to be able to leave a separate review for the 2 different Aceele hubs I purchased. It worked okay with laptop. Didn't work well older Android phone (Samsung S21 Ultra) but worked with newer S23 phone. There was a problem with USB C ports though, the USB C connections don't hold and the drives would go off and on. The ports didn't seem snug enough on USB C cord so maybe that's why the connection wasn't good. I tried different cords. The external drives and flash drives work fine directly plugged into the phone or laptop with the same cords or with the other Aceele hub I own. Charging through hub seemed to work, but hardly useful when other ports don't work well. I was hoping this one would be as good as the other Aceele mixed USB ports hub is only for powering the drives and doesn't charge the phone, plus most of the things I use are all USB C now. Returned the hub. ORIGINAL REVIEW FOR MIXED USB PORTS: 4 stars. Box arrived damaged, but hub seems fine. I just got this and tested it out. So far so good. It's lightweight so great for travel. I tried the powering feature out on an old phone so if it blew anything it wouldn't be anything valuable. Phone was fine so at the least the one I got is fine for powering the drives while in use and doesn't appear to have any defects though I haven't tested every single port yet. The ones I tested work fine and they're speedier than my older 3.1 USB hub. I'm wondering about the durability of this hub though, but time will tell, thus the 4 stars. I will update this review if I have any issues.

It works but needs power adapter
My computer has a flip up cover on the front for the USB ports which I hate, plus when flipped up it gets in the way... not to mention how the USB cables get in the way of the DVD drives when opening and closing them. Solution was this device. Plug it into the rear USB, put this where ever it's handy and not be in the way of the front of the computer. It passes data through better then the front USB C ports and charges any devices I connect. It will need a USB C cable and a High wattage USB C charger. I'm using a 100 watt Anker USB C Charger which has been working well for me. I have a lighted keyboard, mouse dongle and charging a smart phone and another device all connected at same time and no lack of power to them.

Nice size
Nice size. Only two ports of A and C. It doesn't seem to have an upgrade in connection speed with or without power supplied.

Update: great customer service that was responsive and fixed issue
I have used it maybe 5 or 6 times. I connected it to my computer to transfer files and used the power USB-C to get more juice for the USB-C connections. When I was done, I took the power cable off and the whole inside board came off the case! Very disappointed. UPDATE: the day after I wrote my review, Aceele customer service contacted me offering a full refund, even after the Amazon return's window. I chose the option to get a replacement and they shipped it right away. It must have been a defective one. The new one works perfectly and supports fast data transfer speeds. I also like the long cable so I can connect it to the back of my PC. Thank you Aceele!

No steady connection
Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable using this, when I unplugged it from my iPad there was a loud consistent buzz in my Quad Cortex...there is no power isolation of some sort so not very safe for sensitive devices. Apart from that, it did get disconnected when using it with my audio interface, I hoped the longer cable would be useful but unfortunately it's going back.

I was looking for something with a long cord for the USB port, so I have not lost out on this product.

Prima Hub! Mijn laptop heeft alleen maar USB-C aansluitingen, hiermee heb ik zowel 2x USB-A als 2x USB-C, alles op 10 Mb/s. Simpel en doeltreffend.
