This is official Adult Children of Alcoholics World Service Organization (ACA WSO) Conference Approved Literature. The Twelve Steps of Adult Children Workbook provides a detailed series of exercises and questionnaires that can be used by individuals recovering from dysfunction either in a one-on-one Fellow Traveler (Sponsorship) setting or in group studies. The ACA Twelve Steps of Adult Children (commonly referred to as the Yellow Workbook or YWB) is a Steps workbook. The ACA Yellow Workbook was anonymously written by ACA members and provides guidance on working the 12 Step ACA program leading to recovery from the effects of growing up in an alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional family. ACA WSO has adapted AA's Steps (with permission from AA) to address the effects of childhood trauma and neglect and offer hope to Adult Children worldwide. The Twelve Steps of Adult Children Workbook provides members with a detailed series of exercises and questionnaires that can be used by individuals either in a one-on-one Fellow Traveler (Sponsorship) or in group studies. This workbook describes the 12 steps of ACA used to achieve recovery from the dysfunctional traits of codependence that children develop and carry into adulthood as a result of growing up in dysfunctional families, no matter the cause of the dysfunction. What is an Adult Child? “The concept of Adult Child came from the Alateens who began the Hope for Adult Children of Alcoholics meeting. The original members of our fellowship, who were over eighteen years old, were adults; but as children they grew up in alcoholic homes. Guides you through the steps beautifully!
This book guided me through the steps beautifully! I finished it and it changed my perspectives of myself. I love it and am on my second time using it.

Great Piece of ACA Literature and Resource for 12 Step Study
Adult Children of Alcoholics is an excellent recovery program, and this 12 Step Workbook is on target and a wonderful resource, as well as ACA's other pieces of literature. This item was received quickly and in new condition. Very pleased with purchase.

It works if you work it
Insightful and challenging. Not for the faint of heart, and still desperately needed

Very Useful
This book is very clear and useful. It is exactly the same text from Section 7 of the big red ACA book, but with additional worksheets and assignments. So you could probably manage with this one on its own (although the big one is useful for the extra information about background, setting up meetings, and the traditions which are pretty much the same for all 12 step programmes).

wonderful companion
it is so lovely to be able to use this book to really get deep into the program, even when you live somewhere with a very small fellowship (or no fellowship.) everything you need is right here in this yellow work book. i am grateful to have a fellow traveler to work through the book with. the camaraderie helps push me forward when the work seems scary.
