Soundtrack: Pretty in Pink OST (Pink Vinyl, Record Store Day) LP

I could listen to this easily once a week month after month, especially the track "Wouldn't It Be Good."

Great movie! Amazing soundtrack! LOVE THE PINK VINYL!!! My only wish is that the record cover was a little thicker the way they used to be. Seems like all the vinyl covers made now are of very flimsy and thin cardboard. Just personally prefer the thicker feel of the albums in the 80's.

But I found most of the songs forgetable. Nothing stood out, and that probably is what affected the movie's success as well. For music collectors only...

This was the quintessential album during my high school years. I used to listen to the whole CD over and over again. The selected songs were pretty diverse, non-mainstream, and all wonderful on their own. I can imagine the characters in the movie listening to the songs. Watch the movie first, then listen to the soundtrack to enhance the whole experience of this great story.

Have this on cassette. However, no cassette player anymore. Now I can play this great music again.

I'm only giving it 3 stars because I am a huge fan of the movie and the soundtrack is really awesome, but when I received my record, it was extremely warped! It looks really ugly when I put it on my turntable and the track listings were mixed up. For example, side one songs were actually on side two and side two songs were on side one. Minor complaint, not a big deal. In addition to the record being warped, the sleeve was not "numbered" as other reviews had stated. The record was also already open on one of the corners. However, it is in fact on pink vinyl which is good I guess.I was looking forward to getting the "one of a kind", gold stamped sleeve, but was left a little disappointed. I'll definitely be contacting the seller and seeing if it's possible to exchange it for a new one. Doubtful though. The upside is it does play.

Ok CD, songs nostalgic. Bought mainly for Psychedelic Furs as can't for the life of me find the soundtrack song anywhere. Loved the movie.
