KAVU Sydney Satchel

I bought one of these years ago maybe 6 or 7 years ago. I used it on an almost daily basis. Okay I was going through a minimalist phase and this is what I chose for my one daily bag in black. I realized it was just beginning to look a little worn in places and finally faded. (Incredible it is absolutely still 100% useable but after awhile it is just time for something new.I was lucky to find this one. I think only 3 colors were still available all the others were not available, don't know if or when will be back in stock. This is awful! If you are looking for a durable amazingly well constructed pocket book with multiple zippers, that can be used over shoulder or cross body this is it.Honestly when I realized they were almost complete unavailable I would have bought it in any color. It you are looking for this type of bag just grab one. Kavu is the best. Hope they aren't going out of business!I also had at least 10 years on one of their wallets and maybe 15 on a holder I use for my driver's license, etc excellent quality and longevity of their products.

Plenty of room and lighter weight than a leather bag. Loved it so much I bought the same bag in another color.

My new fave purse. I’ve owned a few Coach but got tired of spending a lot of money. I needed one that is better suited for the weather elements. We camp and white water kayak a ton so our truck is always getting wet - we are always getting wet. Leather doesn’t suit our lifestyle anymore once we moved out of the city. I loved the rope on the other style backpacks but they weren’t comfortable on my right shoulder. This is my new favorite purse.My wallet can fit in the zipper section that you see in the first pic. I don’t have to take my wallet out at he grocery store! I just unzip. Very well made. Very functional. I leave my keys attached as well to the hook. I hate looking for my keys so it’s function is pretty near perfect.My only complaint is that it sometimes slips off my shoulder when I’m wearing my winter coat. I didn’t have this issue with my previous leather (Kate Spade) purse. So- It could use some adjusting there. I usually put it in the front seat of the cart while I shop. I also wish it had the rope the other Kavu’s bag have. So cute!

I love it! I thought it would be too big, but it's the right size for me. (I'm short) It feels like it will hold up. I lost things once from a cheap purse, so quality matters.The only thing I don't like is no spot for a cell phone where you can just answer fast. I leave the outside zipper undone 4" so I can hear it and grab the phone easier.The color is beautiful. It was on sale for $33.75 which I felt was good for a nice well made purse. I live in the mountains so the rowing oars goes perfectly here.

Love it! Adjusts to fall at my hip for easy access to both outside zippered compartments and large interior pocket. The color is awesome, just as pictured. I even splurged and bought the matching slender wallet. Enjoying the whole package!

I got this to replace my old Sydney Satchel, which was given to me as a gift and quickly became my favorite bag. My previous one lasted several years(4 maybe?) despite my using it almost exclusively for the whole time. The materials lasted and have just barely started to show wear and tear on my old bag. The bag has plenty of room, and I can even stash my sweater in it if I need to.

As always Kavu's done it again! Not onlynis the bag great for travel/hiking the colors are great! I love how thick and sturdy the material is, and easy cleaning.

Great for traveling or for everyday. Love the zippered compartments. Roomy……cute.
