The one with black and red lettering is a little easier to read.I'm glad this comes with 2 sets. Both my son and I collect baseball cards, so we can each have our own set. These grading tools are exactly as described. They come two to a pack. I'm not sure why I would need two, but I do prefer the one with alternating red and black lines. It also comes with a ratio guide to help you pick which cards to send for grading, and which to leave raw. They ship with a plastic protective film, so they don't get all scratched up during shipping. Make sure to remove this before using the tool. All in all, they work just fine for my purposes.
