Are these boxes rated for use in concrete slabs?

They are not suitable for concrete pours. We have had customers caulk the seams and use it that way but this is not a welded seamless box.

How sturdy is the door? I’m planning to install this in the middle of my living room. It will be under a couch to handle lamps and the electric couch.

They are designed for normal foot traffic and light equipment. It would be fine for home use. Note the size of the unit, we have had some individuals purchase for home use and felt the unit was too large.

How large are the holes in the side? We are not running conduit but need grommet for the holes where cables are coming though.

It's a 7/8" diameter knock-out. We can also punch a custom size if you need. Contact us through the Amazon message system.
