I bought the Oblivion Double Side Scale Aluminium Alloy ruler for general measuring and marking work, and it has been a solid tool so far. Good. I was worried if the marking (measurements and letters) would be too light but it is perfect, deep initials are easy to mark. 7" is enough to get started with your wood work at home.

Finishing is horrible
This is not a good speed square; it is stamped instead of being machined. There is a high level of burring at edges, very annoying and a waste of money.
