Thiruvasagam / திருவாசகம் (மூலமும் உரையும்)

Description

Brand New Book Review: Everyone should read - Good book Review: A Valuable and Well-Presented Edition of Thiruvasagam - This is a very satisfying edition of Thiruvasagam, especially for readers who wish to understand the text along with its meaning rather than merely recite the verses. Dr. Sathu Su. Srinivas deserves sincere appreciation for presenting this great Saiva work in a manner that is approachable to contemporary Tamil readers while retaining the devotional spirit and dignity of the original. The explanations make the work easier to follow and encourage the reader to spend more time understanding the deeper spiritual meaning of Manikkavasagar's hymns. Books of this kind play an important role in taking our classical Tamil spiritual literature to the next generation. The publisher also deserves special praise for bringing out such an important work in a good-quality hardcover edition. The overall presentation, printing and binding give the book the permanence that a classical work such as Thiruvasagam deserves. The fact that it has reached multiple editions itself reflects the continuing interest in this work. My appreciation to both the author and the publisher for preserving and presenting this timeless treasure with care.
