Q: Why is my liquidiser leaking?

Need strength and care to check inside rubber seal well down, really press hard to seat goblet into its base and then harder still to press down and rotate onto body of machine. Then check lugs on lid and goblet are accurately lined up. Much more trouble than my previous model, in fact a nuisance to ageing folks whose wrist strengths are disappearing. You must guess I was never keen on it

I'm not sure quite which "food processor" attachment you are asking about. We have a liquidiser/blender (1.5 litre, acrylic rather than glass, Kenwood part number AT337) that fits on the KMC510 and works well. There are an assortment of other attachments that Kenwood sell for the Kenwood Chef KMC510, but which we don't have, though none of them are actually labelled "food processor". I would expect any genuine Kenwood attachment to state clearly which food mixers it's compatible with. Sorry it's not a simple yes/no answer, but hopefully of some help!

Q: Does the kenwood KM5C10 have a guarantee?

Good afternoon. I have been online to find there are a few of us out there with a silver Kenwood where the paint finish has "mottled", only been wiped with a damp cloth and polish off with a side cloth, no chemicals gave been used. Over four generations of my family have the cheif mixers where the very old white ones have discoloration but mine is only 7 years old. Trying to get through to their customers services is a 45 minute wait... I cancelled the call as only then I was 6 in the queue, I started off being number 8. Your feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks Caroline

Q: Does the 3 speed version limit its use? Are you better with 8 speeds or do you find they are not necessary?

Mine has a variable speed up to 7 on the mixer. Mine is the same model as this. But saying that I don't use it on a very high speed, but its there if needed. Hope this helps.
